Phoebe's Diner - Austin - Photo album

Where to start? The service was absolutely excellent here. Really nice staff, and fast to the table. I had the chicken fried steak - it was fantastic. My buddy has the chicken Caesar wrap and it was also fantastic. The room itself was wonderful too - super cozy, well appointed and comfortable. Would
Phoebe's Diner isn't just a diner; it's the crowned king, the heavyweight champion of Southern comfort food, and the reigning monarch of good vibes. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner – it doesn't matter; they rule them all with a menu that's like a treasure map for your taste buds, guiding you thr
This was my first time to dine at Phoebe’s Diner, and it definitely will not be my last. Food, service, and atmosphere were all superior. To have chicken fried steak again, and it’s gluten free… it almost brought me to tears. The potatoes were also so very good - crispy outside, fluffy inside. I mea
Portions are sizeable. Good crunch on the cheeky monkey. Shrimp and grits came with chorizo- very savory. We thought Mr.crunch would be a closed sandwich however it is open faced. Will come back to try some of their sweet options!
Cute little diner. Came in at 9am on a Friday. Shortly after arriving the entire place was full. I had to ask someone to place an order as I felt they forgot about me. Food camera out quick. I had the brisket burrito. It was a large portion but the BBQ sauce tasted "off" to me. I'd come back but onl
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Phoebe's Diner in Austin, and it was an experience worth sharing. Accompanied by the Knead God family, we indulged in some truly remarkable dishes that left us craving more. First up was the Fried Chicken & Grits – a dish that transcended our expectations. T
A delicious breakfast spot my wife and I visit often. Not a single item on the menu will disappoint! Highly recommend the Cheeky Monkey, Baked Egg, Biscuits and Gravy, and Chile Relleno (all pictured below).
I had lunch here with a friend. The chicken fried steak was delicious. It has the right amount of coating. The gravy is a little spicy but tasty. I subbed out the red potatoes for the hashbrow casserole. I also added an over-easy egg to my meal. I ate everything. We went back again two days later.
Austin’s food scene is one of the best in the country so it was hard to choose where to go on our first trip here but we decided to check out Phoebe’s diner based on a recommendation and it was a great decision. Located in a great area with a good amount of parking, we went for brunch and it didn’t
Got the Baked Eggs and friend got an omelet. The wait was about an hour during brunch time and we got there at 11:30. Worth the wait. You'll need to valet during these peak hours or park around the block walk.
All my gluten-free friends need to come and try the gf chicken fried steak or gf fried chicken and grits!!!!! Absolutely incredible. 12/10 with the flavor and with how crispy it was on the outside. To top it all off, the gravy was also gf, the perfect thickness, and great on top of the chicken. The
Phoebe! Phoebe! I LOVE THE FOOD HERE! Me and friend was visiting from out of town and we wanted to try a brunch place before we left. This place popped up. I love the atmosphere of this place. We were greeted by our server Danny which he was very sweet and professional. The food we ordered was Pheno
Visiting from Dallas and went here for breakfast on a Monday around 11. Wait was about 5 minutes or so. Originally I ordered the Chili Relleno for breakfast and was not impressed at all. Took one bite and just did not like it. With that being said, my husband tried it and loved it so it’s just a mat
Really good and filling brunch spot. I liked that they had many appetizing dishes to choose from. We got 5 dishes and they were all pretty good, but my favorites were the chile relleno and the tator tots. The staff and service were great, too!
A must try!! This location might not look like much from the outside but it’s a true gem. All of the staff were so friendly and the service was quick. The deep fried French toast was to die for! The cheeky monkey, corn bread muffins, fried chicken biscuits, and Vietnamese iced coffee were also absol
