I was at Barton springs and decided to grab some food from the Picnic Food Truck Park. I got the might cone and the hot and crunchy cheese Stix. I was impressed by the shrimps. It tasted very crunchy and fresh. The fried avocado was okay. The chicken was partially dry. The tortilla was not impressive either. There was too little sauce.. I would go back for the shrimp cone though.

Wow - SO good. I was excited to try it and they didn't let me down! Chicken was cooked well, juicy and yummy! SO GOOD! Size was good for me, but could have been bigger in general for the $7. I will DEFINITELY go again and this time try the shrimp cone and add some fries!

The shrimp and avocado cone is by far my favorite food truck food in Austin - actually it's my favorite food truck food *period*! I was so glad when they went from being a stall at ACL to a full time location. Anytime I can have one of these, it is the best day ever. Disclaimer - I haven't tried anything else on the menu.

Chicken cone was very good. Cole slaw on top wasn’t too runny, and the sauce was kickin’. Priced a little higher than what I would normally want to pay for it, but definitely an experience. Super dankalicious chocolate brownie dessert they have there.

I'm a Mighty Cone fan and keep coming back for some crispy chicken in a tortilla. The hours are a little different now so check online before going. I love the chicken and avocado cone! I like to mix and match my food at The Picnic on Barton Springs but lots of the places were closed when I went. The Mighty Cone is an Austin staple, so go now!

The Mighty Cone is pretty unique if you're visiting Austin. The taco's are overpriced for sure, but it's a fun experience and the food truck park is nice. There are so many taco places in town, but definitely worth a try. You get some pretty cool pics out of it too. Find me on Instagram for more @onehungrygirl__.

Love this place! We have been here several times, we hit it up every time we're in Austin and we drove down from Fort Worth today for birthday cones! The crunchy outside is always perfectly fried (the fried avocado and chicken is best!) and the fries have the best seasoning; they don't even need a dipping sauce. Can't wait until next time!

Great food and friendly service. I had the original chicken with added avocado. It was my first meal in Austin for my weekend trip so this was especially memorable. Their almond breadcrumb mix is really delicious and adds a nice crunch. I was surprised that the avocado I added also had breadcrumb mix and was fried but I loved it! They have a few tables at the Barton Springs Picnic that have cone holders to make it easy to eat if you stay a while. I'll definitely return during my next trip to Austin.

One of the very best meals in town if you like fried food. Grab the avocado/chicken, and the cole slaw is definitely above average. Fries are great too. One star deducted because, as everyone in the reviews claims, the employee is pretty miserable.

I've been waiting to go to this place for *years*. Finally made it to Austin and tracked this gem down. Thoroughly enjoyed the Monster Cone, spicy fries, cheese sticks, and fried pickles. The green sauce they have is simply amazing. I even bought one of their orange tee shirts, which is simple and brilliant. I hope you have the opportunity to experience this anomaly of tasty satisfaction, at least once in your life. *Highly* recommended.

For the first time in reviewing history, I was planning ahead of time to give this place a bad review. They opened an hour after they said that they do, and then when I finally ordered it took almost 20 minutes to get my food. I want everyone to know very well that it was worth every second of the time I spent waiting. I got the chicken avocado cone and the cheese sticks, and holy crap, it was amazing. I've never had cheese sticks that were so dang good. If you happen to end up feeling like it's taking too long, just be patient. Your wait will be well worth it.

The Mighty Cone has been a favorite obsession of mine since it first came to ACL Fest years ago. I'm so happy that they now serve year-round outside of the festival. I just love their shrimp-avocado combo cone! The shrimp is cooked perfect and their breading is so flavorful and crunchy, it's such a delight when you bite into the creamy avocado. It's not as delicious as I remember years ago, but it's still pretty darn good.

Our first experience with The Mighty Cone was at Spirit Fest in Austin. We were instantly hooked. These chicken, shrimp and avocado stuffed tortillas in a cone were just to die for. The breading is so delicious and the treat is the seasoned cole slaw at the bottom of the cone. We drove to there location on Barton Springs because we had a Hot and Crunchy craving to taste they were not quite as good as our first experience. The chicken meat was mostly dark meat, not like the white meat we originally tried. Very good but the mobile food truck offerings were definitely better.
