Cool spot just at the beginning of 6th street before you get into dirty 6th. Great tap selections, and fantastic bartenders. Has a Cheers vibe. Lots of regulars who welcome you in.

Respite with great selection of rotating draft biers on the quiet end of Dirty Sixth.
The margarita on tap was a pleasant surprise. I opted to enjoy it with no as-is with no added sweetener and was very pleased.
The food specials are usually worth a try.

Always enjoy my visits to Waller Creek Pub House. One of the best craft beer selections downtown. They have great specialty cocktails too. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders too! And that Rueben sandwich!

Is in a great off the beaten path location (for downtown's sake) with a decent lineup. The bar itself is designed beautifully both inside and out. However, I would give 5 stars if the glasses weren't plastic and the bartender didn't make us feel as if we weren't supposed to be there around 11:00pm on Saturday night.

I work nearby and frequent this place for lunch. Sean (Shawn?) the bartender is always chill and friendly. Quick service and good food. I usually stick to the quesadilla but sometimes will get the Brie-oncé burger (cute, huh?). Both are delightful and I'd recommend them. Solid place and good drink selection!

Wow. So, for the longest time, I never even knew this place existed and must have walked past it a couple dozen times. Well, on a whim we were looking for a bar with board games and decided to check this place out and not only did they have board games but they also had a great selection of local beers. What a great find indeed. It seems a world away from other bars in the area nearby. The place wasn't very crowded and the atmosphere was chill. We had a couple drinks and played board games while we waited for a concert to start later on that evening on 7th street nearby. So, in conclusion I would say this is a chiller spot to have some great beers and, if you want to actually talk to and enjoy your company, you can in the dirty sixth street area and not to far from the red river district. It's so surprising what you come across sometimes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who was looking for a chiller spot off dirty sixth.

Bartenders are knowledgeable and attentive, food is super tasty, beers are varied and reasonably priced. Been here a few times now and it's been a great experience every time. The few burgers I've had have been super tasty. Definitely upgrade to the fancy fries. You won't be disappointed. They have 30 beers on tap. Local crafts and other varied crafts of many different types. Atmosphere is chill and great for groups. A step off sixth street but totally different atmosphere. Granted I've been here during happy hour both times but it's been a welcome change from the party scene of 6th. Music selection was awesome too and a few TVs in the bar playing various sports. Come here. Come here now.

Awesome pub with great craft beer and food. They've got a wide selection of craft beer (including some locals) that they keep rotating, along with hard liquor and cocktails. The spot is pretty cozy and relaxed, a nice place to have a drink and a chat. They serve typical bar food, no extensive menu or anything, but it's really good. Their burgers and wraps are awesome, and their fries are perfectly crisped. They have happy hours during the week, usually dropping a beer or two down a few bucks. They also occasionally have some events with live music and featured food. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the mood for just drinking, eating, or hanging out.

Really cool rustic decor. Burgers were great and drinks are also good. Price is pretty standard and the location is prime. This is a fun place to go with friends and grab some food before going out on the weekend!

A great little bar in Austin with great staff that was friendly and helpful in explaining the beer selections. The regulars at the bar were very friendly and nice to chat with. I didn't order anything to eat all though I was told that the food is very good.
