Grand Lux Cafe - Austin - Photo album

Came here for their soft opening and took my mother here for her birthday dinner. The location is gorgeous, they definitely did some great renovations with the place. They are a sister company of Cheesecake Factory, so there are a lot of similarities. The food portion is giant and you will definite
HUGE portion sizes. My boyfriend and I barely put a dent in it. Same owners as Cheesecake Factory, which is pretty cool. Great food, great atmosphere. Very cool decor, and no wait time at a 8p on a Tuesday, which can’t be said for other restaurants at the Domain. Will definitely visit again. The re
Delicious!!! A variety of great food and desserts!! The seating is a little uncomfortable due to not having full booths but we made it work at the bar section. Is a little too bright in the main room for us. A great place to go and have a good meal with family and friends.
I go at least once a month and try something different each time. Every time I've gone the food has been delicious. They make a lot of fresh items there on site. The prices are reasonable for a date or, to treat yourself. I'm always impressed by the wait staff they are always knowledgeable, as well
I love the Grand Lux Cafe! They have a great gluten feee selection. The patio is dog friendly and the waitress brought our Corgi a bowl of water and we did not even ask. The food is great! It is a very nice upscale place! They have the best salad I have ever eaten. Desserts are amazing! The staff is
Upon arrival this building was gorgeous! Valet had just shut down, no big deal, parking was close by. Wait time on a busy Saturday evening at 945P was about 20 minutes, not bad at all. My party & I entertained ourselves. Our hostesses was very polite, as was our waiter. Our waiter, Johnny, was very
Good atmosphere and large selection of food. Loved freshly made Beignets with raspberry sause, whiskey sauce and maple syrup. Delicious!
When we first stepped into the restaurant, we thought "this reminds me of Cheesecake Factory." Later we found out it is actually created by Cheesecake Factory's owner. (no wonder!) We went there for lunch on a weekday around 2pm. It wasn't crowded. All the servers and hosts were very friendly.
Hidden gem! Salmon three ways was absolutely mouth watering. Ahi tacos were fantastic as well. Everything is made fresh to order. Lava cake takes a while to be made however waiters will inform you before the order is made. I didnt mind waiting however it's about 15 mins if you're short on time.
We enjoyed a casual Sunday brunch. We arrived at 11am and it was not too busy. The food was flavorful but a tad on the expensive side. We ate inside, but they have a cute patio outside.
Loved, loved, loved the place! Great atmosphere, great food, affordable prices and super friendly staff. Service was superb, BTW, the pineapple margarita was incredible. Some pics for your delight.
Very good experience! Chicken and waffles were cooked to perfection and the florentine omelet with hashbrowns was also delicious. Very attentive waiter always checked how things were throughout the entire meal.
Supurb. The food was excellent. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. Highly recommend if you are in the Domain and want an option that gives you options. I had the Chicken Picatte. Desert was also sinfully good.
Service was incredible, the decor was fancy but still had a good casual atmosphere, and the food was spot on. The dishes are a bit pricey but if you're looking for a proper restaurant that is slightly on the fancier side- this is the one. Staff was really friendly and kind and the food didnt take th
This place is gorgeous! The food and staff are attentive and very knowledgeable. It is on the expensive side but you knew that since your in the Domain. This is a great place for an anniversary dinner, special occasions, or anything that would benefit from the lovely decor and food
I stopped in here to wait for the rest of my friends to arrive downtown. We only ordered appetizers and dessert but it was fantastic! I had the coconut limeade juice which was VERY yummy. Our waitress and even the host that walked us to our seats were so friendly. I think our waitress was named Morg
I got the Madeira Chicken and it knocked my socks off. Perfect in every detail. (Sauteed Chicken Breast Topped with Asparagus, Mozzarella and Our Fresh Mushroom-Madeira Sauce. Served with Mashed Potatoes). The chicken cut effortlessly with a fork. Asparagus was tender but not overdone. The sauc
Really good food, consistently. Going with our toddler has mixed results based on his mood, but can't fault the restaurant for that. Large groups may have a bit of a wait, but we've never had to wait more than ten minutes as long as we're OK with sitting outside. Parking can be a nightmare; the park
