Jack Allen's Kitchen

Jack Allan's is my top choice for a nice group gathering. Their waiters/waitresses are attentive, the atmosphere is welcoming (Texas theme), and the food is top notch. If you happen to be there for their happy hour, their half price off for their starters/appetizers is a steal! It's not too loud where you can't hear your friends, but loud enough background noise that you don't feel like a stranger can hear you, but everyone there seems like they were enjoying themselves. I definitely missed the fries they used to serve that were no longer on the menu, but their food has not disappointed me yet! The sweet buns from the burgers, the crunch from the chicken fried steak and the fried catfish, the tasty guac... I can't wait to go back again! I was there with my friends to celebrate birthdays, and we got yummy free desserts as well. Thank you for making the evening special!

Jack Allen's is a nice restaurant that serves consistently good food and it is a pleaser for sure. At this particular location, where I sat was kind of dark and it was very difficult to see the menu and it was just a little off-putting in the area closest to the windows in back. The food itself was wonderful and I always enjoy the chicken fried chicken and their salads are also a delight. Friend of mine got the salad with encrusted pecans and watermelon and spinach and raved about it! The desserts and the stuff are generally good and it is a well-run place. They are a company that knows how to manage restaurant movement and flow. The wait staff is generally of a good quality and provides a service that rates them at four stars with me. I usually only give five stars on service to those who go to A level service. The bottom line is this, they provide consistently good food with very decent service and atmosphere. They really have good systems in place to move you through the process in a reasonable amount of time also. All in all it consistently four star experience with a nod of the head for their high quality food and desserts.

The waiter was so wonderful to our big group of teachers in a hurry. The atmosphere was lovely and we all loved our food. My only issue is that I ordered the chicken Navajo taco but it was not a Navajo taco. It was a delicious chicken tostada but not a Navajo taco. I recommend trying it, but don't go in expecting a Navajo taco.

Fantastic lunch at Jack Allen's. Our server was very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have a severe peanut allergy and he, as long as management came to our table to let me know I'm safe. That is a HUGE deal for me, and other food allergy sufferers. We'll definitely be back. Had the chicken fried steak (NY Strip) and Wedge salad. Both excellent!!!

Visited Jack Allen’s kitchen for the first time with family and we were not disappointed. The menu options are unique and the food was so tasty. Definitely would recommend the mole verde shrimp tacos! The environment at Jack Allen’s is great, so cozy and rustic. Service was great and food came out fast. Dessert was also very tasty. Clean inside and seating areas. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try.
