Jo's Coffee Downtown

A cozy gem in the heart of downtown. I love walking here on the weekends for a truly easy going brunch. You can make it quick with a croissant and coffee or live it up with a variety of breakfast tacos, sandwich's and other options complete with mimosas, froses and a full espresso menu. Service is a little on the slow side, but totally manageable if you know what you are getting into. I love the avocado toast with the feta.

Cute little place in downtown Austin . Interesting vibe, I would want to use a word “weird”. It is a not a bad weird or a good weird it’s just different. Food was ok . You tip and the sign asks to bus your own table . Which I always do anyways. But then it’s “weird” to ask for a tip, I guess? The coffee I got was good. The avocado sandwich was ok . It was hard to cut through the bread. You can definitely visit the place and have a cup a coffee there. They have an outside patio too that I think could be good to people watch .

Latte quality is top notch. The espresso is strong and smooth, yet well balanced if you enjoy it with milk! The food looks amazing, but we didn’t have any this time. Pricing is good for coffee but a tad high for foods. The atmosphere is perfect for brunch, but also has counter seating with outlets to study or work. The patio area is great for people watching and enjoying urban Austin as well. Definitely stop by this local favorite if you can!

Jo's is a great place to grab a quick lunch. The waitstaff are very nice and food comes out pretty quickly, even during the lunch rush. Also great if just grabbing some coffee to go. Had the turkey sandwich last time. Wished the chips were a bit more crispy (some were too soft if my taste) but will definitely be back.
