We had Parkside cater for our recent anniversary party celebration and the food and drinks were amazing! Our guests really enjoyed both the braised short rib and seared Texas redfish entrees, as well as the delicious passed appetizers to start. The drinks were also excellent, especially our speciality cocktail of sangria. The staff was very attentive and professional as well. Highly recommend Parkside for catering your next party!
Happy hour offers the best drink and food prices! I reccomend everything on the happy hour menu we tried everything! And the pretzel a few times! Martinis were excellent! And so was our service!
We really enjoyed this place and going during their happy hour (5-6pm) makes the menu a lot more affordable. Everything is half off!
We had a charcuterie board and their classic platter which included 6 oysters, 4 shrimp, and ceviche.
For happy hour, I give this place 5 stars.
Parkside always comes through with a delicious happy hour and dinner! The ribeye, fries and crab fritters were my fav but I like every dish that we tasted! Yum!
Great food, ambience and service. We ordered the oysters and a few of the other dishes from the happy hour menu to share and everything tasted like a treat.
They have happy hour EVERYDAY 5-6 so that's a plus... half price apps and drinks at the bar. Also, the bartender was awesome. My food was taking way too long and she gave me a drink on the house. I'd go back for cheap drinks but other than that, there's nothing over the top about the food.

Steak tartare tostada was great, lots of tartare stacked on top and i thought the red sauce was very complimentary
Calamari was a light fry if that makes sense. They give a mix of the rings and the legs
The steal here is the half price east coast oyster platter!! Half price all night on wednesdays, so it comes out to $16 for a dozen. And you get 3 different kinds of oysters- chefs choice, so its different every week is what i think the waitress told us

This food was so good. It's all fresh ingredients, mostly local. Above the food was the service. Friendly, professional, quick. Even split the check the way I needed for my employer. It was great!
Went for Happy Hour when entire menu was 1/2 price. Even so it felt pricey, but this was our first meal in Austin where prices are high. We had fun, the brick walls added a cool vibe. Very laid back & funky.
Had a Caesar salad, which had to go back as there were croutons when I requested it gluten free. It was good, not memorable. Had the grilled asparagus which was terrific! Also split the chilled raw seafood plate w/ 3 shrimp, a shot glass of ceviche (not GF) & 6 oysters (normal price $46!) All fresh & delicious.
Enjoyed a Cab & TX Whiskey. The glass of wine was an avg pour & normal price was $16 (!).
Young crowd - like all of Austin. Behind the Westin on 6th St. We’d go again but only for Happy Hour as $ is more reasonable.

Our server Joseph rocked--so patient and helpful. We literally sampled a ton...ceviche, oysters, shrimp cocktail, scallops, beet salad, cauliflower, and NY steak. All great, though the steak was more medium than medium rare so order a little under what you like. My wife really liked the beet salad. Happy hour was rediculous--1/2 off everything food and drinks the whole menu minus bottles of wine--there is a great wine selection here, and even though glassrs are limited, what is available is top shelf. This is a true gem for Austin...wish the happy hour was longer, but we were allowed to stockpile an extra drink before it ended....I'm so full. I'd recommend this place to anyone! The beer becomes absurdly cheap in happy hour at half-off though I stuck to wine, scotch, and a really cool mezcal cocktail that was to die for...missing this place between 5-6 will be a sin in the future when I even consider downtown, despite its location in the touristy 6th street locale. I'm a local so I usually wander this way only when visitors are in town but I'll make an exception from now on...high class yet still TX enough to allow casual dress. Love it!!!

Always great food! Best happy hour! Try the crab fritters. This place is consistently amazing. We stop there for dinner or happy hour each trip and this time two times. Happy hour still great, food is amazing and staff is warm and welcoming. This time, we had oysters both time which were so fresh from East Coast and I always have to get the crab fritters. Everything is farm to market and you won’t have a bad bite. Thank you Abby and Trevor
Parkside is a must if you are visiting Austin. Great place and an amazing dining experience. Raw bar, and a good variety of entrees. We will definitely be back
Came for Weds happy hour. It was dead inside but that is expected. 1/2 oyster plates and bubbles. I had a ceasar salad with chicken and it was pretty good.
Went on a Wednesday for half off the oyster platter and it was well worth it. Oysters were fantastic and a good side of fries (much better than I can describe). I'd definitely go back.
Delicious, fresh, locally sourced, beautifully presented dinner and desserts. They make everything, even the marshmallows in the Rocky road ice cream!! Great Wine selection also. For those who appreciate well crafted cuisine.
The food is good and the service is nice. The cocktails are not good though. The menu is priced on the higher side. There are very limited no meat options
Must say it took a while to get the server to take our order, but when he finally did the drinks and food came out in a timely manner. The appetizers we had were my favorite part of the meal(calamari and garlic fries with the best aoli I've ever had). I had the risotto entrée, and I immediately regretted it after tasting it. There must of been 3 other things I would of rather had than that. Maybe it was the wrong choice for the night. All in all I would return for the fires and aoli.
Good spot for happy hour (half off everything), excellent pear cocktail... I had the bass crudo and the calamari... crudo was good, fresh - but a bit too much lime juice overpowered the dish. Good service and clean. Date spot for the locals!
