Pappasito's Cantina

We visited this Fantastic restaurant in July; the place is like a spanish house, with beautiful decoration and great music. Inside, we meet Mrs. Aydeh; she was making fresh tortillas and talked to us about the process with the machine to make it. When you get the fresh tortillas at your table, you know where they came from. The food was delicious. I ordered the mix fajitas, great portion of food, and the services was fast and perfect. We will come back!.

My husband and I had dinner here. This was our first time at Papasito's. Our waiter, Gavin, was great. I had the beef fajitas jalisco style and had the La Fresa margarita. The fajitas were tender, flavorful, and so delicious. My drink was very good as well. I had flour tortillas with my meal, and they reminded me of my mom's. My husband had the Reynosa. He said the chicken was very flavorful. He enjoyed his meal. For dessert, we had tres leches. I am not usually a fan of this dessert, but it was good. We will return here again. Highly recommend!

Went again recently great redfish , really impressed expensive definitely. Ordered food to ribs/w 🦐 brochette. Not good ribs tough definitely not what they should be, probably out of pressure cooker too soon Went back again just this week of August Awesome experience, wonderful food and service above a 5 Star. They really know how to take care of customer.

Went there tonight for an earlyish dinner, a party of 6, 3 of which were kids. We were seated right away. The restaurant is spacious with a fun vintage Mexican atmosphere. We ordered the queso fundido appetizer because we saw it on the sign on the way in and it didn't disappoint. We all loved it! Melty white cheese, poblanos, Sautéed onions, and big chunks of mushrooms - yum! And the flour tortillas were excellent! The kids all got packs of crayons and big folding activity sheets with kid menus. Very good portions and prices for kid meals. My daughter thought the sauce on her food was too spicy to eat and the staff were so helpful to get her something she'd eat. Staff was so friendly and the service was very fast! I ordered Texas redfish on the halfshell and the fish was amazing! Some of the best tasting/cooked/seasoned fish I've ever had. So tender and flavorful, I didn't even need the salsa or pico de Gallo it came with. We all really enjoyed it and I'd gladly come back next time I'm in Austin

I came in for lunch and ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender (Kevin) was great. Quick and very friendly service. He took the time to get my name and use it every time he walked by. My Combo Fajitas were prepared perfectly and were amazing. The tortillas were hot and fresh. This made for a very enjoyable lunch experience. I will be back!

The staff was amicable, and the food was fantastic. But I wish the menu were more detailed; we had to ask our server thank-goodness we did because we found out the meat was grounded which she preferred slice, but those are not written down in the menu. They have a big portion here. Overall the food is delicious.
