Barlata Tapas Bar - Austin - Photo album

My husband and I went for dinner and were looking forward to it as we have always wanted to try it out. We didn't have reservations so we had the option of sitting in the bar or waiting out 1 hour so we decided to sit at the bar which wasn't too bad. We ordered a couple of things between us: 1. Frie
Great food and service! The environment is a little bit too noisy for us. Squid ink paella is a must! Have the Mussels and add some bread for dipping the sauce, you will love it!
Definitely a unique experience and worth a try. Went with friends to try it out. We had reservations as recommended and were seated upon arrival. Our server was awesome, she took the time to explain the entire process to us as this was our first time here. We ordered and the food started coming out
Love this place! I go for the patatas bravas but always like trying new things. My faves from today were the croquetas and ceviche, droool. Oh and the Catalan toast dipped in the leftover sauce from the potatoes was so good, haha. Okay, one mooore, the costillas (sweet and sour pork ribs) were prett
This place is absolutely worth the hype! Husband and I went in for a quiet date night on a Tuesday, which happened to be half-off bottles of wine night. To start we ordered the Ahi Tuna Tartar (very generous portion, loved the presentation and so yummy!), Patatas Bravas (can't go wrong, but the aiol
Crazy good, took a bunch of people from work, not a bad thing was said. I visit Spain a lot and this is as close to authentic as you’re going to get in the US. Everything was outstanding. Both paella’s were a huge it, the croquetas were as close to real Spain as you can get! Highly recommended.
Very limited veg options Good place for meat lovers Really good paella Highly recommend their tapas Also must try: happy hour which has tapas and drinks
Can not give this mom and pop restaurant enough stars. Wheelchair accessible. Very clean. Friendly servers and the chef was amazing and came out for a photo. Included 15 pictures. The food is out of this world. Paella with jumbo shrimps is a must, meatballs were finger licking good but the bes
Went there to celebrate a family birthday recently. We were happy to find we arrived in time to enjoy happy hour prices. Very nice menu, lots of interesting variety. We had Spanish Olives, Ahi Tuna Tartar, Brussel Sprouts, Baked Cauliflower, Pork Ribs and a Seafood Paella. Everything was tasty and
Cool spot. They recommended ordering around 2 dishes per person and myself and my friend ended up ordering 5 plus dessert (whoops lol). Every dish was fantastic. We got the salmon special, quail, octopus, mushrooms, brisket, and cheesecake for dessert. Drinks were fantastic as well. Be prepared to s
Chef Daniel is amazing. I didn't get one dish or drink that was even so-so. Everything was over the top. I definitely recommend the civiche. The starters are out of this world. I'm a chef and I literally couldn't think of a better way to have things here.
First off, the food is amazing!!! It's definitely on of my favorite dining experiences as of late. The ceviche was so fresh tasting and the seafood in the paella was so perfectly cooked. I always have to get brussel sprouts if I see it on a menu and they definitely didn't disappoint. The Churrasco s
While the menu at other tapas places might be more accessible and “user friendly” to the average person, and sharables for the price of an entre at other places, the attentive staff, beautiful presentation, wonderful drinks, and flavorful dishes compensated for that small frustration. Will be return
We had a wonderful time here. We came at the happy hour and basically ordered most of the menu. It was wonderful.
I love this place. Food is awesome! The mushroom, brussel sprouts, and the squid ink are my all time favorite. Dinks are delicious, perfect balance of the sweetness and alcohol flavor!
Really fun tapas spot in Austin. I had the tuna and octopus, both were very tasty and didn't disappoint. The wine was okay as I did find it to be a bit pricey but other than that, definitely worth checking out.
