The food was good. Went for the fried chicken and it was a close second to Gus’s. Was blown away by the Mac and cheese which could’ve been a meal in itself but we ordered it as one of our apps. The fried deviled eggs were also tasty, could’ve used more of those.
Really great find: we loved that we could make a reservation through OpenTable, so we did mot have to wait at all when we arrived, the waiter was very entertaining but knowledgeable at the same time (he amazingly described every dish we were interested in, for us). The food came fast and we loved th
My SO selected this spot for our private birthday dinner this year. His choice was terrific! This place is definitely a date spot and not intended for kids. An extensive wine list, along with a few craft cocktails are provided with the menu. Our server was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable
I’ve had a fair amount of ‘great’ burgers. This has overcome the reigning champion as the best burger I’ve ever had, number two being Gordon Ramsey’s BURGR in Vegas. So highly recommend the signature burger with bacon and a fried egg. Get some garlic aioli to dip the fries in. So freaking good...
Great place for a holiday party. Their fried chicken, roasted Brussels sprouts, and mac-n-cheese are all well crafted versions of the down-home favorites. Easily within walking distance to CapMetro train station.
Had fried chicken for lunch on Sunday. It was awesome! Fantastic flavor, moist chicken. Service was great, the chef personally checked up on us. I'll be back!!!
Damn good. Best fried oysters (the crispy prosciutto is a very balanced complement, not overwhelming at all) and best fried chicken in america.
This was so much fun. I was here because of a company event. The food was great. The event was in the basement and it felt kind of like a speakeasy. The food was great, and there was a great assortment of drinks. I plan to frequent Max's in the future. Parking I think the best option for parking is
Had a business💼 lunch here with our executive team. Food 🍛was great! Value was good. Its a trendy setting, is open at least for lunch and dinner.
One of my favorite Austin stops, featuring gluten free fried chicken! always wonderful. Service was top notch for lunch, but can be busy for dinner.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. We loved the food and wine... AND the staff is incredible!! We loved them so much we took photos with them. Ryan and Paige thank you so much for taking such good care of us. We had a few stragglers to dinner and these guys made it work. I am so gratef
Great place for brunch. The fried chicken is amazing!
Good quality food. Wouldn't recommend going there on you lunch break. Can take a little long to get your food. Overall great for dinner options.
Excellent service, the chicken salad was amazing, good selection of wine.
The fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collards were amazing. The chipotle honey was an amazing addition (that it didn’t need)!
Service was a little slow. Food was good. I would go again. Had the shrimp and grits which was yummy.
Delicious and dependable chain for comfort food. Fried chicken and Champagne is their signature serving and not to be missed.
