Love the atmosphere, food, and service here! The staff is happy- you can tell; and as a result the service has always been good. My server was very knowledgeable about the menu, and was never pushy. I give this place very high marks for their tree covered patio- it's super chill, and you always forget you're next to a busy highway. The food has always been served hot, and is consistent for every time I've visited. Great Tex-Mex if ever there was a place to serve it. They're great for groups, so bring friends and enjoy some drinks from the bar; everyone's bound to love it!
We were at a totally packed Chuy's last night on Research Blvd. in Austin TX. My cousin from DC was visiting and we took her to get top quality Tex-Mex! The food was great, all 5 of us had great dishes (I got the cheese enchiladas with hatch green chili sauce absolutely excellent) and the server did great keeping our tortilla chips coming! Had tres leches for dessert which was amazingly good 😋. Highly recommend!
Considering how packed it was and with a 50 minute wait time, food was outstanding! I recommend everyone to this establishment. My wife and I drive from ft hood just to enjoy a fine meal.
This place is FANTASTIC! The fajitas are amazing! Try the grapefruit margarita it is the absolute best!! The service was great fast and good. Will definitely go back when I come back to town.
Probably one the best Tex-Mex places with great food, I will need them to be everywhere!!!
Clint and the Bar Staff killed the margarita! The Bomb! Excellent service and of course killer TexMex.
My favorite Mexican restaurant and food in Austin for a VERY long time...
Frozen Margs...Deeelicious! The staff, always hardworking, friendly and fast!
The price, on the money!!! !♡♡♡♡♡
Great service better food. These always manage to knock it out of the park. The servers kick butt and make the meal every time for me.
Great weather so we sat out on the patio. Great service... Vickey was our waitress & she was awesome! And, of course, the food was great, as usual!
I was there last night with a group of about 50 high school band students and 3 other adults. They were able to seat us 4 at a time in a fairly quickly even though it was Saturday night. Food tasted great. It was my 1st time eating at a Chuy's restaurant but I will definitely eat there again.
Huge portions, entire menu is delicious..great margaritas and queso too!

Fun time, really loud, great drink menu. Great service.
The hatch menue had great choices, our waiteress was great, and the manager came over to our table and fixed the grandkids up with stickers.
It was a great hatch time👌
Awesome food. Awesome service. Kellie is the best!
With two of our loves !! Nena and Jon :...we enjoy the place the weather and ...... the food !!!
Love this place!!
I always bring visitors to Chuy's to show off the awesomeness of Texas!!
Food was exceptional. Many choices looked different and novel. Very attentive service.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Love Chuys!! Happy hour is great! Best chips and salsa wonderful Tex-mex food!
[Update] Dine in experience was awesome 👍 Our server was so friendly and helpful. They have the best chips and salsa. The fajita was flavored well. I love how the beef was seasoned and cooked, the chicken was a little dry though.
[First try: To-go]Very fresh taco salad! The flavor of the beef fajita is so good. Not too tender to bite and not dry at all. I also love the salsa they provided,a little spicy and delicious.
This place is amazing. Love the atmosphere although it can be a little loud sometimes still a fun place to meet friends or to bring the family. Make sure you try to Mexican Tini and the house Rita. They are really good. Creamy jalapeño and chips is a must. I have been coming here for years and still love it more and more every time. My favorite is the Chicken flautas, the enchiladas are also good. Watch out for the taco enchilada combo because a lot of the times the beans will be underneath the taco, making it a little soggy.
When you’re done with dinner make sure you try the tres leches. Carmel with strawberries is a must. Looking for happy hour it’s weekdays 3p-6p

I haven't eaten here in years as I live in Colorado, but I always try to stop in because this is very pleasing Tex-Mex. I finally got to enjoy some time at the Chuy's I grew up living next to and was very happy. The food was delicious, and the fresh chips and salsa alone were worth the drive to Texas.
We got seated indoors, but it was too loud, so we asked to be moved outside, which was absolutely perfect. All in all, it was the great experience I was hoping to have and am grateful I was able to FINALLY have the time to eat here again. I was not disappointed.
Wonderful tex-mex restaurant. Authentic flavors in everything they serve. We love the tortilla soup and tres leches. Enchiladas and Fajitas… great.
Ambience is bright and chirpy with lovely artworks featuring strong Mexican accents.
Be warned:a quarter slice of tres leches, serves 3-4.
Kayla at the front desk is a kind hearted soul. She helped me settle down as I needed assistance being on walker.
Eva also provided great service.
Loved this place. Ambience, booth, food and service were exceptional. boom-boom sauce and tres leches cake were just cherry on the top. 🥰
Big place, even if there is a wait, line moves pretty quickly. Good food, large portions, good drinks, cheap prices. Had the comida deluxe so I could try a little sample of everything and it was great. Sauces and Queso was excellent.
Food and service are always consistent and solid! Huge portions and their creamy jalapeño dip is amazing. There can be a wait so I recommend joining the waitlist online before you go.
Kayla & Erin did an amazing job of setting up extra tables so our HILL COUNTRY BIBLE CHURCH singles group of 21 could sit together & eat & fellowship in the Lord! Ernesto was an attentive waiter & so was the other waitress…plus the food was amazing! Highly recommended ❤️🤗❤️
It's hard to go wrong with Chuy's. The only time it sucks is if the wait is more than an hour. That means you'll be in two margaritas before you even get your apps. The food and drinks might not be "authentic" to you, but they are to those who have been going there for 25+ years. It's always a happy place to eat delicious TexMex and I haven't been disappointed yet.
I’ve been eating here since they started, way before they became a chain! Always Always a solid consistent Tex-Mex experience.
I really enjoy going to this location and sitting out on the back patio with the string of lights overhead in the trees. Garza was our server and she was absolutely wonderful!! Garza took the time to answer questions about the menu, checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything, and just had such a positive vibe. I would ask for Garza if you head over to this location and definitely sit outside if it is cool enough! Great atmosphere!!
Went here with family after flying in and was seated pretty quickly. The dog decor was quite quirky but fun and the server was very friendly!
The food came out quick and there was a massive amount of food for the price. I just managed to finish my plate of ground beef burrito and it really hit the spot. Very much recommend this place!
Food was excellent, hostess was very friendly, and waitress service was average but I think she was new. My Panchos were awesome!
Been to Chuy’s (different locations in Austin) for years now! Chuy’s serves reliably good Tex-Mex every time we’ve eaten there. Love their chips & dip. Service is not the best at times but you can’t go wrong with this restaurant.
