My husband and I had driven by the vineyards for years and always talked about stopping in so on Valentines Day we went with some other family members and had an amazing dinner (their steaks melt in your mouth) and the live music is wonderful.
The staff is so friendly here and they will let you sample all of their wines. We’ve come back for dinner another time and I joined the wine club during that visit. We came in yesterday to pick up our quarterly wine from the club and I love that they let you select what wines you want to get. This was a good excuses to sample some new wine and they are so knowledable there. Their settings are so pretty and I love the plans they have to add on water features and increase their pond.
If you’ve been thinking about going there like we did for so long just do it! Pick a day....right now and go. You’ll thank me later!
Beautiful vineyard and friendly staff. We brought our dog and they let us sit on the patio and have our tastings. They have lovely Pinot Noirs and ports. Of course we had to go home with several bottles.
We found out about Aurora because of the Oregon Wine Passport we purchased on Groupon. So glad we did! It was the first visit out of the Passport and it paid for itself on this visit alone. We got 2 tasting for free and loved the majority of the wines. We were warmly greeted by Mindy and Cathy and their service was great during our visit. We also had the best food with our wine. The chef is very good. His French fries are one of the best we have had. So great to have food at a wine tasting and reasonable prices too.
The outdoor area looks great and we want to go back in a warm day for that. The inside could benefit from a fireplace, specially on cold days. It would make room cozier and warmer. It was a little chilly inside and I had to get a jacket out of my car. But it's a cool place still. I love the easy going and relaxed vibe of this winery. It's like being in a bar or restaurant with good wine and great service.
We purchased the Oregon Wine Passport on Groupon and chose Aurora for our first visit, for 2 complimentary wine tastings. GPS was confused about the entrance but we turned around and figured it out. Friendly reception and service by Mindy and Cathy. We enjoyed the majority of the wines and came home with a bottle of rose and a bottle of chardonnay. The Rose of Pinot Noir is absolutely delicious!!! I will keep going back for it for sure!! The food was really good and my husband actually said the French fries were the best ones he has ever had!! Were were very happy with the time we spent at Aurora. Nice relaxed vibe. It felt like a cool restaurant or bar. We will definitely go back on a sunny day to sit outdoors. It looks lovely!!!
Mindy was great! This place is absolutely amazing! If you've never been here you've got to stop in and check it out. If you're looking for a venue, you should definately check it out! From beautiful grounds to amazing food. You can't go wrong here!
Best little winery in the area that we visited. Good wines and excellent lunch. The scenery around this little gem is amazing. Comfortable service area and good staff.
Really great wine, they did not serve food due to shortage of staff.
I am a wedding coordinator that had the pleasure of working at Aurora Colony Vineyard in July of 2019. The staff was great to work with - both before and after the event. The grounds were beautiful and an amazing place to host a wedding.
Great atmosphere, wine and food. Our server, Paige, was beyond excellent-full knowledge of the wine/menu, timing was impeccable and her suggestion of the brussel sprouts was spot on. They were delish! Also had the artichoke dip which was crazy good. We sat out on the deck next to the pond on a lovely warm evening. A perfect spot to enjoy a little wine with your date/friends!
