First time going to that one in Aurora.
We sat at the bar to order wings and a drink.
It was snowing outside and we started not to go but I'm glad we did we really had a nice time.
The the food was good as well as the atmosphere we talk to people sitting at the bar that was very nice and kind and the whole experience was just great and, so was the service at the bar.
Definitely looking forward to going there again.
We had lunch between a wedding ceremony and check-in time at Bertram Inn for a wedding reception. We had time to kill, and this was the second d-last day before B-dubs closed for remodeling. From the outside, it already appeared closed. Inside was typical B-dubs dark. Had to settle for a Blue Moon as a wheat beer, and had the black bean burger. It was okay, as were the fries. The fried pickles were good! Service was quite good!
What an experience! First off, let’s remember that staffing is a problem everywhere. We all know that. Nothing new. Attitudes are also a common in today’s world. We all think we’re entitled. AND customer service has been on a steady decline for years. People just don’t seem to care for their neighbors like they used to.
Despite all of this. Despite being one of the only two servers on a weekend evening. Despite how most of us would have complained about the work load or at least had an upset look on our face. Tyler was beyond amazing! She was smiling, kind, and never let on that she was responsible for half of the entire dining area! We did not wait for service, she was attentive, she even circled around to check on us several times. She was a true example of a superior person and a great reminder of how we all have the opportunity to choose our responses to any situation. Tyler acted as a great role model for all of us!
It seems like a disease that's being transferred to so many restaurants post covid. You place an order you go and pick it up you assume that they have everything you get home and things are missing. It is a quality control issue that is 100% a management issue. It is very simple to put in place a check mark process that an order is checked physically prior to leaving. The fact that food costs have gone up so much makes this even more important as I the customer will never return due to wasting 30 minutes of my day for their mistake. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from that know how to do to go orders properly. I hope they learn from their mistakes.
