Angelo's

So glad for the change and evolution to this community staple and gathering place. I was not impressed by the previous owners food. Being from Italian family that used to cater and creating my own recipes at home for family, I would prefer to make my own meals. Today we stopped in for late lunch and as I saw food coming out to other tables, I decide to try multiple items. The staff was very nice and upbeat I even got to talk with the owner Angelo. Everything tasted fresh and is fantastic. Looking forward to their community involvements and activities as well. GO LEE ANGELOS AURORA!

Disappointing considering how good the original Angelo's was. In an effort to give it a fair chance, we ordered a basic pepperoni online.. pizza was very underwhelming.. no longer does it have the great cheese texture and flavor it had previously.. you can tell the quality of ingredients is not of the same caliber.. pepperoni was burnt.. they try to cover up the lack of flavor with adding some oregano or Italian seasoning sprinkled on the top, but it just missed the mark.. it feels like they're using store bought ingredients and overcharging for what you get.. we used to love this place, but sadly, likely will not return.. very nice staff and the crust tasted like East of Chicago which wasn't bad.. the rest of the pizza was just very bland, very plain, no flavor.. just disappointing honestly

Love the food but not a fan of the new management! Takes way too long and not all of the staff is nice. Their online pricing is different than what they tell you if you call in. A cheese pizza is supposed to be $12.50 and when I just tried to order one they told me $16 which is ridiculous for a cheese pizza! Especially since their large is equivalent to a regular medium elsewhere. They would not accommodate the price even though it is their website that has it incorrectly.

Very disappointed, food is not what it used to be since under new ownership. My young kiddos noticed the change in sauce/pasta. The salad dressing is different (I used to buy the bottles) and even the pizza crust isn’t the same. We used to drive a little distance to come here for “our favorite” but I guess not anymore :-( let me know if you ever go back to the old recipes please!
