Take a good look at this ground beef taco
Very horrible texture of beans look perhaps, pinkish no taste I truly believe it's ground turkey or pork waste 15.00. I contacted PePe, claims it's beef! God forgive me, if you are a true taco lover don't waste your money go elsewhere for ground beef Tacos. Too bad I live far to take the Tacos back to Lake Street in Aurora, IL

Yesterday (Sunday), we (a cousin and I) visited Pepe's on Lake Street in Aurora and I definitely had a delicious steak burrito and to drink, I had diet RC to which the gracious hostess offered refill(s) and the service was wonderful and friendly and the atmosphere was quiet with some good music played later. My cousin enjoyed the tacos. I only wished to have eaten more of the chips with the salsa and I forgot to ask for the remaining chips to go. Thank you for a wonderful lunch/meal.

I can't believe someone made this menu and said wow this is good. Lol what a joke. foods over priced for quality. I did however like the green salsa. The horchata was very thick and sweet and the lemonade was worse. Sadly we didn't like anything. It's time for change! You could have potential

First, we love Pepes. This one just didn't live up to expectations. Our chips were mildly burnt, and tasted kind of funky. The avocado salad was 99% shredded lettuce with 2-3 avocado slices and a very small amount of sour cream. The steak tacos were dry like they were sitting under a heat lamp. And the service was just a bit slow. Nothing was awful enough to complain, but definitely underwhelming compared to the other locations (Crestwood, Oak Forest, Oswego).

The food is great, The Cocktails are delicious. The Owners are the most humble sweet go outta there way to make u feel like Family, to all the different,. Race's that go in there for there half-price margaritas on Tuesday and Thursday's, and just a fun place to hang out at.... I definitely would not order food here just because this is more of a whole in the wall type of bar than it is a restaurant. What I find shocking is the prices of their drinks, they are way to overpriced for the type of ambiance it has to offer. The bar is super small and outdated for what they charge for drinks. I can only assume the owners have to charge these prices in order to be able to afford to keep the bar/restaurant open.

I like Pepe's in general but the food at this location was not up to the standards I'm accustomed to.
The service was more 'mechanical ' than pleasant and sincere.
I will not return to this location.
