Domo 77

I have been a customer of this restaurant for over 30 years, when they started the business in Bloomingdale. The food is consistently good and the chefs will make any necessary adjustments to your meal to make it more enjoyable. Never had a bad meal there, well worth the money, and will continue to go back! Dined in at the Aurora, IL location to celebrate our oldest daughter graduating high school. Our server, Angie, was extremely friendly and helpful. Our chef, MJ, is a master of his skill. He was funny and entertaining. The food was delicious, as usual. We eat here 3-4 times a year and this visit was the most fun we have had there. The entire team do a wonderful job providing an exceptional service. We look forward to our future visits.

The man greeting us and seating is was fantastic, I have to start with something positive. You go to a restaurant like this for the meal and the show. The chef who made our food in front of us was obviously annoyed to be there and the only "trick" was the flaming onion. There was absolutely no show involved. The food was dry and tasted bad. We used to love this place but I honestly couldn't have had a worse experience. There is no free refills and the food is very expensive for what you get. We unfortunately will never be going back. IMHO save your money.

While the staff (and I'm assuming owners) was really nice and sweet to my children the chef barely said anything to us and cooked the food in a matter of minutes without any show wheresoever. That's literally the only reason you go to a place like a Domo. I can get chicken and shrimp anywhere. We were celebrating a birthday and felt like we were rushed. Also 2 out of the 3 adults thought the rice tasted off which surprised us cause it's normally amazing. Sadly a place I grew up going to I probably won't be coming back .

My friend Jasmine and I went yesterday after leaving sushi plus due to the long wait and it was pretty great. We shared a plate and paid the $12 charge and got some drinks. Our chef was great, made conversation and even helped me make my own fried rice even better. I appreciate that. He was funny too. Even sharing out plate we were still super full cause we also got a spider roll and we took left overs home. Will definitely return.
