Here visiting from Southern California. I moved out of Illinois 4 years ago. This place was my go to Chinese spot before I moved. So I had to come back and get some food stuff. I was happy with the meal for sure. You cannot find good Chinese in California where I am.

If I could give this place negative 5 stars, I would. We ordered takeout today, and was immediately greeted with a clump of hair when my husband opened his sweet and sour chicken. I called the restaurant. No apology, but said she would replace it. When my husband arrived at the restaurant, she said accused him of soiling the food, stating, "You drop on floor!" We had just opened the food. And the hair was too dark and long to be my husband's, and too straight to be mine. Gross. I will be calling the health department tomorrow.

This place used to be absolutely amazing but not anymore. They must have gotten new owners or something. Which is a shame because I have been coming here for like 16 years and had always been the best till now. Don't waste your money.

Food seemed old. Spicy combination rice has not seen any type of pepper, spice, etc, was also old...too clumpy. Egg drop soup almost made me a bit queasy? The General Tso's chicken seemed re-warmed, chewy, soggy. I am very disappointed. I threw away the Salt and Pepper Fish, because although pricey, was soggy, unseasoned and old. I'm angry and sad. We spent so much money here on one order (well over $60.00). I used to frequent this restaurant before I moved overseas a few years ago and I bragged to my husband about how wonderful it is. I was disappointed to introduce my husband to this, I'm sorry. I have read, that the restaurant has changed owners. I'm relieved to know that this isn't the people I once knew, but disturbed to have encountered this.

Nice selection of menu items, dining-in was good when we last went recently, but take out just isn't as great. Our pickup order was missing some dipping sauce, had to go back to get missing items, and food really wasn't as fresh - we actually ordered RIGHT at opening time, too. Table service was quick and friendly on our prior visits. We will just make sure to dine in there going forward.

If you are within delivery radius—order. If you're not? Pick it up. Their food is the best and well worth the drive. Everything is great here, honestly, so if you can't decide between what you always get and getting a little adventurous, there's no wrong answer.

This is the first time I ordered from this restaurant and it will definitely be the last time I will order from this restaurant. I ordered pan fried noodles which I’m not really sure what kind of noodles I received but they were burnt and all stuck together. I could not eat them I had to throw the whole container away. Then I ordered the sesame chicken for $11.45 and what I received was dried crunchy white rice and bland sesame chicken. Definitely not worth it. I read the other reviews and thought this would be a great place to try obviously it was not-so disappointed 😞
