Jalisco Tacos Autentico

My my my my, what a wonderful find! Everything on this menu is absolutely delicious. We ordered various tacos, the steak arrachera, birria tacos, tamales, cheeseburgers, and Micheladas. Who ever is back there cooking deserves a raise! It's sooooo good. Unfortunately, the service is just alright and the restaurant has absolutely no Covid precautions. Sometimes the servers wear their masks properly, sometimes they don't. There is absolutely no social distancing. I try to avoid lunch and dinner rush hours because it is packed to the brim. Forget summer, it's always packed. They do have an outdoor seating patio but they never set it up so you're forced to sit inside. There are no prices on the menus, they have all been covered up. The bill total is always different even if you keep ordering the same thing everytime you visit. What's up with that? I overlook these unfortunate points because the food is just so good. If you're ever in the Chicago area definitely make a stop out here. Highly recommend the food!

It was my third time at this place but definitely the last one. We ordered five tacos, one CHICKEN burrito, one horchata and one bottle of sprite. We paid almost $28 which I’m perfectly fine with it (if everything was worth it). When we walked in we had to wait like 5 minutes to be seat because half of the tables were empty but were dirty. The online menu wasn’t working so it was hard to see their menu on the walls, when our food arrived as soon my partner cut the burrito she was totally disappointed, she ordered a chicken burrito, not a tinga or desebrada burrito. The flour tortilla and lettuce were already saggy for all the extra juice the tinga has, we were expecting the basic grilled chicken. Or they were just overworked and were tired to make the chicken or they really had to get rid of unused chicken tinga. She couldn’t even eat it, everything you see in the picture was left in the plate, the tacos were good but the tortillas were a little cold and that didn’t make the tacos the best. Their prices are not listed, practically you will pay without knowing the pricing since they will NOT give you the bill. The guy didn’t even ask me if I wanted the bill.

Today I had tacos al pastor and my boys had de asada with refried beans and rice. They have three hot sauces that go very well with the tacos. The horchata taste sweet and is refreshing. Eating area is clean and their service is friendly and fast. Just one problem.. no prices until you pay your bill at the register. Overall it's ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I do recommend going to eat here, food is fantastic and delicious. The only problem I have was with staff members, My family and I were telling our orders to the waitress and she was rude and she said that she didn't hear what i said but clearly my family did hear, our food was taking a bit long then usual. * They need to have more members * They need to be motivated and happy so more consumers can come in and enjoy the restaurant.

This was literally the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I literally threw it away when I got home. I can’t understand why aurora has such subpar Mexican food. There was hardly any meat on the tacos. The gordita literally tasted like what I’d expect from jail food. I never leave bad reviews for places but I’m disgusted with this one. Salsa spilled all inside of the bag and the food was 1/10. Horrible place to eat.

Went to Jaliscos today and I usually Go to this location about 3-5 times a month. My son had a taco that didn’t taste very well and had a funny smell I mentioned it to the waiter while I was Paying and he went to get the owner we explained to him that it tasted funny and the owner went and got a taco from the back and started eating it and was like I sell millions of tacos a day and this was delicious you don’t know what you’re talking about I was like first of all we’re just telling you I didn’t say I was gonna pay for it cause I come here all the time worst customer service ever he was really cocky and try to belittle me and my children I will never go there ever again!!!
