Dunkin'

I know it's in pilot. I give it 1 star out of love I have for a large iced (double) caramel latte that only DD can get right. Please stop.. It's 1am. I'm having trouble sleeping. Coffee seems to be the only thing that helps me get to sleep. I don't drink it often. I've never even liked the taste. When I want a "fix", I want what I really want (as stated above). I check Google Maps before I take a spoonful that horrible coffee mix I have. I mean, I really donxt like coffee so when I want it, I like to get it over with fast. Anyway, I see this location is OPEN.. and I recently got a car. Oh yeah, back to my late night NYC moves. I get there.. it's a rest stop. Awesome, no Roy Rogers tho. I park up. I see the DD signage. I don't see any people. But, I do see an island of Dunkin Donut malfeasance. You mean, I'm supposed to make it myself. I'm not above trying it out. I've built actual things with tools. I assembled my first desktop PC at 16 yo. I've grown indoor plants with a carbon scrubber (High Times. Pix of the Crop, 03/15/10. Princess Diesel). That's in NYC. Imagine doing that for 5 yrs and getting away with it (statute of limitations). I'm pretty f'n smart and diligent. I can do this. I tell you when I look at this island (apparently, from Lost), I HAVE NOOO F'n CLUE WHERE TO STAAAAART. Which coffee do I use? How much do I use? Milk? How many pumps of caramel for a LAAAARRGE ICED DOUBLE CARAMEL LAAAATTAAAAY.. where's the f'n ice? Whose coffee is this behind me!? I need instructions. Dunkin Donuts, we both failed tonight. I went to 7-11 and grabbed a.. *snif snif*.. Starbucks caramel crappé.. it's working. The sleep is setting in.

It's literally just a part of the gas station. I don't mean the ones just located in the gas station. I mean you make your own cup of Dunkin and grab your donut and go to the counter. None of the flavors & only hot & iced coffee, no frozens. You may as well just run to any gas station. I shouldn't be irritated by something so small but CO barely has Dunkin'so after driving 10 minutes for coffee, this place is the epitome of disappointment. The lady was nice though & pointed me to the closest real Dunkin which is where the star came from.
