Rancho Alegre Mexican Restaurant & Bar

The basic dishes that every restaurant (doesn't need but always has) aren't the best however when you order the signature dishes that is where it's at I loved the parradilla mine had chicken nopales and steak with melted cheese on tortillas just making me want more writing this review! Also the drinks are amazing. I would do 5 stars but the restaurant itself is what I don't it looks like it needs a remodel paint is chipped and you can notice very minimal things if you look up and around the walls (it's an older building so I don't hold it against them) if this place was modernized it would be a hit for sure

Food and drinks were delicious and I'd definitely go back. The problem was that my friend spilled a drink. The server kindly cleaned it up and said she would get her another one. When we were finished and she brought the check, we hadn't been charged for the spilled drink which we thought was nice. However, after she ran my friend's card, we saw that the charge for the drink had been added on. That was pretty shady. We would've just paid for it in the first place. No need for the stunts. Bomb food, though!

Went for lunch today it was very good. All the ingredients were very fresh and the flavors were excellent. We had the carnitas plate, the meat was just the right mix of crispy and moist and tender. Also had the taco's barbacoa, the meat was tender and flavorful and the salsa's served with them complimented the meat with just the right amount of spiciness. The portions were very fair for the price. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

A couple days ago I was dinning in with my friend and I could see how another waitress scream and fight a young waitress. I could feel the pain on the young one while she just stands there crying. This was very unprofessional from the old waitress, make my meal the worst in long time since I always eat here but after this I'M NEVER COMING BACK. Worst meal ever...

My friend and I went here because of the "Good” reviews and rating we went when they weren’t busy either and I ordered a chicken burrito and my friend ordered a crispy beef taco plate only to have to sit for 20 minutes with NO chips or drinks while we waited for our takeout only to have customers come in after us and they were already getting there food. Long story short if you don’t want to be overcharged have to wait 20 minutes with no drinks or chips then DONT go here. 30 dollars for some beef tacos and a chicken burrito with no chips or drink is outrageous we could eat at a steak place for that price only to have to deal with lazy unprofessional staff. We walked out WITHOUT our food and we will never be back. You guys have been warned about this place.
