New Day Cafe

Everything was really great!! The chips and salsa were super delicious! I had a stuffed sopaipilla and it was soooo good! The medium green chili is the perfect amount of spicy and has so much flavor. Rose was an awesome waitress as well! She knew what I needed without me even having to ask! I will definitely be back many many times!

After reading some of the owners responses I felt compelled to chime in on our experience. The food quality is really poor and service is so unprofessional. The celebrated fried tacos are dry and over cooked and the meat has a bland taste. We should have known when the chips and salsa was bland. We could not eat the meal in front of us. The owner is not helpful at all and really has an attitude that shows that she never has run a successful business. The waitstaff was talking to her (or rather yelling )on the phone to her creditors . Pretty bad that a new restaurant has now stooped to such a low point! Now I see the owner is arguing online with customers get real. You challenge me on my own name. You argue with the customers who hear your untrained staff(my ears heard it right she was arguing with her bill collectors on the cell phone as she sat in the booth next to ours. You lady are really stupid and deserve to go out of business please just leave this space so a better restaurant can come in to support out r area not just some egomaniac hanging on to her mamas worthless recipes

We have been to this place twice now, last night being our second time. My husband loved the fried tacos. I ordered the pick three and two of my choices included ground beef. There was an odd taste in the meat, I don't know what it was but it didn't taste good at all. My taco that was with steak was great so I'm positive it was the ground beef. I went home and my stomach killed me for the rest of the night. Maybe it was just a bad batch of ground beef but we will not be returning. Sorry. ***Response- A few reviews below me "Kaleb Smith" complained about the beef as well...

I make a special trip out to this restaurant just to taste the great food that they offer I haven’t had anything I didn’t like. the salsa and the chips for the starters are just delicious . I’m trying to eat my way through the entire menu it’ll take me a little while but I’ll get there . The service is outstanding the owner is always there to greet me the atmosphere is congenial the place just spotless I couldn’t ask for better place to eat . So far the fried taco seem to be my favorite however I had the heuvos rancheros with the steak, man was it good! .

Decent size portions and service was good. Breakfast burritos are huge and $5. Fried tacos were ok. Chile relleno was just a fried mozzarella stick with no chili. Beef burrito I couldn't finish. Beef was terrible. I took 2 bites and was done. If it's in your area and nothing is close try it. But don't go out of your way.

This place is simply awesome. I found it by accident looking for another restaurant and am so glad I did. I would say I am a "hard to please" customer sometimes. The staff here are pleasant, helpful and made me feel appreciated, nevermind that the food is awesome. The chili is top notch. I will be coming here for years to come. Keep up the great work.
