I’ve had experience with Aurora Medical Center when my mother had a stay last year. That experience already had me at ease when preparing for my procedure. The staff, from check in to check out, are wonderful. Everyone involved introduced themselves and explained what their role would be. I was in and out in a very timely manner, just as scheduled. The cleanliness and Covid procedures were strictly adhered to. Hopefully I won’t have to go back any time soon but if needed, Aurora Medical Center will be my first choice for a medical center.
This review is way over due. I was hospitalized March 2021 for Covid. I was very sick and was having such a hard time breathing. I went to the ER initially, which did take longer than I wanted, but I understood because of staffing and how the pandemic was at that time. I was admitted and stayed for the anti-viral treatment for five days. All the nurses, doctors, and janitorial staff were amazing. The food was so good, even though I had very little appetite. The care I received during a time I was very sick was amazing. I truly think if I wasn’t cared for properly like I was, I was going to die. They saved my life. Thank you all so much. I greatly appreciate what you did for me. I am so sorry that I am so late in thanking you and sharing my experience.
Very attentive staff in the ER. When taken ti my room my nurse Olivia was right on all my needs. She was very caring and compassionate. I was called back 4 days after discharge to let me know I needed to come back. As my lab came back abnormal. Upon returning they were very attentive.

All of the staff at the hospital are warm and friendly. They strive to make you comfortable, especially the people in Admissions and the technicians in X-ray. The Customer Care made it a very positive experience for me (the exact opposite of what I had experienced last December in Lab Corp—someone should check on them).
I was well taken care of. Great details on communication. Everything introduced themselves, explained what they would be doing. Then asked if i had any questions. Never left alone. Always felt well-attended like family was taking care of me. Truly felt that I mattered as a person not just another patient. Thank you all of my care providers!
