Las Fresas 2

We wanted to split an entree and so we did the combo burrito, chille relleno, and tamale. After we paid for our order, we were told that they were out of the tamales but weren't given any choices of what else we could order. When we asked, she said (with attitude), "whatever you want" which wasn't a clear answer. We ordered double of the chille relleno. It took 35 minutes for them to prepare our single entree. The girl brought the plate to us without any silverware and then gave me attitude when I asked for silverware. She then took anotner 5 minutes to come back with it while we sat, ravenous, and stared at our food that we couldn't eat. The food was delicious, but I definitely wouldn't come back here.

I saw Las Fresas open and always drive by it. Last Thursday, I was coming home from a business trip and my boyfriend asked me what I wanted for dinner after dropping off a colleague. I didn't know what I wanted but saw Las Fresas so it was decided. I am so glad that we came here. We ordered Elotes, which was so amazing. It's corn with butter, mayo, and spices. So delicious! We also ordered Dorilocos - Doritos with pig skin and sour cream. The watermelon aqua fresca I ordered was amazing and delicious. We also ordered shrimp ceviche tostadas, which were really yummy too. They did have a lot of sauce on them so some people may not like them due to the amount of sauce. Because of our order, they offered to give a drink on the house so we ordered a mocha coffee smoothie, which was wonderful as well. The customer service here was amazing. We were greeted instantly and when we said we had never been there, they offered their opinions. I am so glad I finally visited this neighborhood gem. I can't wait til I got back again!
