Tea Station Chinese Cuisine

Really disappointing. Their Chinese food was nothing close to amazing. I ordered what was supposed to be a very spicy dish on the menu and it was bland and my beef was looked like chicken pieces. My fried rice was a sad box of overcooked rice that didn't even have egg involved. But the most disappointing item I ordered was their crab meat wontons. They were a small, pitiful unsightliness of what could only be a sad flavorless frozen food disaster that I could've bought in a 711 convenience store. Will never even think about going back to this place and if your thinking about it just don't.

I cannot comment on the quality of the food, as I've never eaten here, but the milk tea is my favorite in the area. The milk teas are made with a brewed tea base, milk tea powder, non-dairy creamer, and liquid sugar (fructose maybe). I personally ask for half sugar, but they aren't too sweet to begin with. It's true that the boba pearl quality can be hit or miss, ranging from perfect to a little soggy. I've never had any so soggy as to affect the drink, though, and they use a tasty brand of tapioca.

If you're familiar with Tea Station in California, please don't go here. It's like finding your favorite Mexican restaurant and realizing it's really a Taco Bell inside. The food was bland, the pearl tea was horrible, and the pearls tasted like they'd been sitting out all day. There isn't a single person in the restaurant who is actually Chinese - everyone was speaking Spanish the whole time. The name and logo on the front of the door is the same as the restaurant chain in California, but it's like they just bought an old crappy Chinese restaurant and put their logo on the door. If you're NOT familiar with Tea Station, and you're used to bland, generic "Chinese" food, (read: orange chicken,) you may love this place.

We have ordered from here for years, finally the first time I decided to take my husband to eat in and we will never be back. His sesame chicken had more hair on it then a cat. They didn't even offer to comp, just replace. We now have two full dinners we won't touch. Thanks for ruining my date night.

To add to others poor experience here, customer service is extremely poor. Placed an order for for food 45 minutes before arriving for pickup, my order wasn't even ready when I got there which was fine but the woman who walked in seconds before me both have and received her order in a matter of minutes? Food is avg to subpar, not worth what we paid.... Bottom line for boba go to ThaiLanding off of Montview, for Chinese, anywhere else is better!

I've visited this place on an almost weekly basis since the first week they were open. The staff is quick and very friendly. (If they are busy, you need to give them some slack as they typically only have 1 waiter and cook on duty.) For supper, the chef makes perfect Chinese food and will take requests. Lunch is fast, tasty, and cheap. They also serve "bubble" teas: flavored teas (hot and cold), smoothies, slushes, ices, all with or without boba (tapioca pearls). My favorite is the hot almond milk tea without boba, but only by a small margin to the dozen or so others that I get, too. Make sure to order one of these with your meal!
