Dog & Pony Grill

So far alright. They have a great selection of beer and $3 Coors Light! I'm a little disappointed in the food selection and price. Wings are $12.50, that is a tad on the ridiculous side. Plus I love wings but I won't be buying them here. Their special price on wings should be regular price and $6-7 for the special. I opted for the sliders which were a disappointment. Very low quality meat. Both my girl and I kept spitting out gristles. The food did come out cooked well and hot. I just think the food game here needs to be stepped up to last. However, if the game is one you'll have a view for sure!! The inside is really nice and the staff is friendly. They have a nice patio. So I'm ready for some summer. I'm only a block away! I'll come here to get a beer but I'm giving the food menu some time to find its way. 3 stars for now because that food game needs to level up. For just a bar it is solid and I would give it a 5 star! Reminds me of my old bar back home minus the food. Oh and pool tables out in the smoker lounge.

First time at the Dog & Pony Grill, and I was extremely impressed. The bar keeper was very attentive and insured that the space in front of me at the bar was never empty. The menu is minimal, but what you would expect at a casual bar. The food was good, and most certainly, I expect to come back here more often. If you just want a quick bite and some brews, this is a wonderful choice!

Service was a little slow, but friendly. I ordered the smoked pork shoulder sandwich, which was excellent! Restrooms were clean, stocked and well maintained. Patrons were enjoying the food, beverages and each other's company while watching their favorite sports on the numerous TVs or playing pool or board games. Enjoyed our visit.

Went here for the first time with my husband. We’ve been meaning to for some time and I’m sad we hadn’t come here sooner. The food is awesome, prices are completely reasonable (they even have $12 unlimited mimosas on Saturday’s and Sunday’s) and service was great. Dustin was taking care of us and he was awesome! He was taking care of the entire restaurant. Highly recommend this place. I just wanted to update my review due to our last visit. I changed my review from 5 stars to 3. We were there for lunch yesterday, 4/27, and the service was absolutely horrible. There was one female working the entire restaurant and she was too busy talking to her friends at the bar to pay any attention to her tables. It took FOREVER to get a drink and there was nobody in the restaurant. Don’t order sangria. It’s not actually sangria and I had to send it back which I never do. It took 10-15 minutes to get the sangria and then another 10-15 minutes to get a different drink. Also, had to go up to the bar to pay because like I said, she was too busy talking to her friends. We tip well-not yesterday! It’s a shame because we’ve liked this place every other time we’ve gone.

The drinks were good, ordered a pizza to go, I did wait about 20 minutes to get my pizza from the front but when I brought the pizza home it wasn't great, it tasted burn't and the ingredients didn't seem to be as great as the bartender made it out to be. I was already concerned because the last time I ordered food there it wasn't great either. I called the bartenders and they said there was nothing I could do and I left it sitting there for too long, implying it was my fault. Terrible customer service coming from a previous bartender/waitress. Will probably never come back because of this incident.

Had high expectations going to this place but left wishing I had gone somewhere else. Food selection was poor, not too many options to choose from. Prices were high; this is what really shocked me. I ordered the chicken waffle which was okay in taste. I also ordered sweet potato fries and it was a meager portion. They charged me $2.00 extra for the fries, too! My wife had a salad and she said it was also just average in taste. For the prices we were expecting bigger portions and fantastic mouthwatering taste. Service was decent but not enough to make up for the rest. We’ll be avoiding another visit to Dog and Pony in Aurora.
