The store is clean, a bit different than other seafood place. Oyster were fresh and food came quick. I notice everything serve with the same dipping sauce. A but pricey for comparing to the quality of food I’m getting. The staffs are friendly, they also have option to buy drinks for kitchen staffs! Overall, good place if you’re around the area otherwise there are definitely better options out there.

I am not a seafood person, but they have some decent non-seafood options.
Pickle chips were extra salty, pork rinds are good.
Chicken fried rice had a lot of oil but good flavors especially with spicy mayo on the top.
Fishbowl style drinks are pretty good too. The bartenders are amazing.

Brendan and the staff was great... Can we say adult drinks 😏😁😁😁....this place need to be on an island with me and an umbrella... Wasting the day away eating everything on the menu... Bothering the servers all day. Great times!!!

One of our new favorite restaurants. Food is awesome and reasonably priced. My 5yr old, 8yr old and both adults loved it. I was a little disappointed when I saw the blackened catfish, it didn't look blackened enough. But then I wondered why it tasted so darn good. Among the best black cat I've ever had. Service was good. Host stand was very good with my kids. We have to go back, not only because it was a great experience, but my kid's art is now on display.

Branden & Tiffany WERE AMAZING!!! I have never had service the way they delivered it to me. They were so friendly and ready for all of our questions on our first visit I just loved it. I will be back for Mardi Gras weekend BECAUSE OF THEM and the GREAT FOOD!!! Thanks

Bought a shrimp boil. Usually have pretty good food with these guys. However, my shrimp was neither deveined, or shelled and some were actually rotten with black tails. I called to ask if they could redo my $30 order, and they (the woman that answered the phone) told me they don’t devein their shrimp or remove the shells on them and they never have. Thats bull, my brother worked that same kitchen for two years and deveining shrimp was literally a job. They then told me they will “refund what you haven’t eaten”. Well, I ate 1 shrimp before finding out they weren’t deveined. I told the woman I didn't even want a refund, I wanted my food, and asked if they could simply just redo the order and de-vein the shrimp, I even offered to pay for it. She said “we don’t devein our shrimp because they’re still in their shells, if you have a problem then its a personal problem". You can de-vein shrimp while keeping them in the shell, also, me spending money at your establishment when ordering food means you attempt to make it perfect. So effectively, they’re serving what would be health code violations in multiple states and don’t intend to do anything to change it or even address the issue, instead they blame the customer and tell them it's a "personal issue". I was very respectful while addressing my issue up until I was told it was my own issue and basically to f*** off. Very upset this was my favorite spot in Aurora, but after the way the female "manager" treated me, I will never return until i hear shes gone. "The Juicy Seafood" is essentially the same pricing, they Devein their shrimp, and will take complaints seriously and fix it without blaming you for not wanting to eat s***. Flaming Joe's will continue to receive negative feedback from me and I will continue to recommend alternate spots to friends and clients. However, Brendan (hope that's how it's spelt) was phenomenal. Profusely apologized even after his "boss" blew me off. He told me he's never seen a situation handled like this and that he was embarrassed. Brendan, you deserve better you have EXCELLENT customer service skills, I hope you can use this review in the future for something worth more!

I have given this place about five tries, all of which leave me wondering why I come back. The service is incredibly slow, and when I say that, I mean expect to be here for over an hour with 45 minutes sitting around waiting for food and waiting for your server to even check on you. Their gumbo is basically roux and rice with no actual meat, it's really disappointing as typically a place that advertises themselves as a seafood boil restaurant should have a good basic gumbo down. This place skimps on service and food, not super sure how they're rated 4.0 but I am sure it won't last long. I will say it's gotten progressively worse and considering COVID has been around for going on two years, that's not an actual excuse.
