Real De Minas

The staff always have smiles, and treat everyone as if your part of the familia. The quality and portion sizes of the food is unbeatable. Its a One-of- a-Kind place! They have more than one location, to better serve the guests. {They have a program that feeds those less fortunate and are unable to feed their families.} For that they deserve more advertisement and praise. Thank you to the Real de Minas entire familia for the excellent customer service and high quality food.

I don’t quite understand the low rating. I love Mexican food and there are lots of choices in this area. I had been to another location before and it was fine. This location blows every other joint in this area out of the water. I loved it! The food was fantastic and my margarita was amazing. My server, Lizbeth, made me feel cared for and cared about for the first time in months. I will definitely go back. 10/10, will recommend to friends.

I have been looking and waiting for a restaurant like this! I typically order chicken mole to see how authentic the restaurant is. Real de Minos is the real deal. The chicken mole was so good! My family enjoyed their meals as well. Chimichanga, and shrimp Enchilada's were all super good. I would recommend this place to everyone!

This was the worst experience I have had in a long time. My party of four was seated by the host and was brought chips and dip. We were off to a good start. After 15 minutes we did not have a drink menu, no waiter. It was not busy this were five other tables and some people at the bar. There were at least five waitresses checking tables avoid eye contact with my table. At 20 minutes or so our waitress shows up and is very obvious she is new we order food ask for drink menu and and fill get four waters and ask for more chips and dip. 15 minutes past no chips no one was at the bar making our drinks. Couple minutes later I could she our waitress making our drinks not a bartender we get two of 4 drinks after approximately 20 minutes of putting in the order. I finally go to the host and ask for a manager because up to this point everyone has been avoiding our table. The manger took his time coming to the table and his first words were I hear we had a little trouble and the waitress we have should not have been given a table tonight. No apology no we will take care of you. After and hour of feeling discriminated against (waitress avoid eye contact and our table) and see the waitress rush to check on us after asking for a manger. After this manager was taking his time and clearly not caring about our experience we walked out with our drinks and food untouched on the table. Worst part the manager did not care at all our money was not good enough for his business. AVOID THIS PLACE they do not deserve your hard earn money.

We’ve only been to this location twice. The first time, the service was ok. Nothing to write home about but not the worst ever. When we came last night, we ended up walking out. They weren’t crazy busy when we arrived so we were seated right away. Someone brought chips and salsa but never said a word to us and that was the last we heard of anyone for the next 20 minutes. When our waitress finally came over, it was very clear that she was brand new and the poor girl was struggling. She had no clue they even had a drink menu when we asked for one. To be clear, my issue isn’t with her. She never should have been given a table by herself. We ordered drinks and food and it was another 20-25 minutes before drinks came out. They forgot about one of them and didn’t have another one. At this point we’d been there almost an hour and we don’t even have all of the drinks. When we asked to talk to the manager, he was unhelpful and rude. When we pushed, he offered to take care of one of the meals. At that point, we had been so disappointed by the service that we told him we’d be leaving. We were there to celebrate and left in terrible moods. Luckily we found somewhere else to eat after and ended up having a fantastic night. We absolutely won’t be back here though

This is a review of the location off of Abilene and Evans. So, the food's pretty good, but this place is a hot mess: no bartender, so the ladies waiting tables have to make drinks, which they don't really know how to do... the kitchen can't seem to keep orders with any modifications straight, and the speed of service isn't fantastic either. But the young lady who was our server was unfailingly polite and of good cheer, so we will probably give them another chance.
