Ajuua Mexican Restaurant

Honestly some of the worst "Mexican" food I have ever had. Said fresh real crab and shrimp in the seafood burrito it was imitation crab and canned shrimp. Just bad flavor. Taco salad is a joke as well. The waitress I had was horrible as well. "Are you ready yet?" "Here's your food" "are you done?" And "here's the check" are the only things she said. First and last time coming here.

OK but not great. Took 10 minutes to greet us at the hostess station. plenty of open tables and no one else to wait. The waitress was nice but had a hard time understanding English. She got both of our orders wrong but I did not have the heart to say anything as she was trying her best and obviously a nice person. Food tasted good but was nothing special. I will give them a second try in the future and hope this was a bad day for the restraint.

Sadly, each time we've gone in lately, the service has been horrible! There was a time where the food was great and the service was better, but after last night it's time to find a new place. We placed our drink order, my 13 year old son was given a kiddie sized chocolate milk and my husband and I never got our margaritas. The waiter who brought our the chips and salsa reached over and between my husband and son without so much as an excuse me. TWICE! After 10 minutes we gave our order and she said she'd bring out the margaritas...10 minutes later we left and sadly they didn't seem to care when we asked what we owed for the chips and kid sized drink. Sadly this seems to be the norm anytime we go in. We love the food, but someone needs to get their act together. I'll also bring up, we've been going there for at least 4 years...the womans toilet hasn't had a lid on the tank since then...how hard can it be to put a cover on the tank? Doesn't seem very sanitary to me. It will be a long desperate for good food time before we come back.

We chose this restaurant because the Denver Post gave it great reviews but I wasn't all that impressed. The food was decent and our waiter did a great job, but they were very slow. We went at around 5pm hoping to beat the rush and it still took over an hour to place our order eat and get our check. Also, the food was good but I can't say that it's one of those restaurants that I will ever crave or even think about again.

Good staff. Food is traditional and tastes good. Prices are fair We have been here many times and now us the first time with an issue of a customer talking and doing facetime in the restaurant loud enough to disturb many other customers. I know everything they were talking about and not just one conversation but multiple. I discussed it with the server and she didn't care or do anything about it. I guess they don't care about their customers. That's too bad!!!

We tried Ajuua tonight. The tacos rancheros were some of the most bland mexican food I've ever had. The steak was cooked well, but there was literally zero flavor. We ordered for take out and the person that took our order was very nice. I just wish the food left more of a positive impression on us.
