Had one of the enormous baked potatoes with brisket! It was delicious and filling.
I think my only suggestion would be that it could have been hotter (temperature). It hardly melted the cheese shreds.
Service was friendly, I got to try two of the sauces and both were good. I'll be back with my husband sometime to try something different

Used to be excellent. Last 2 visits food was not fresh at all. Today I soaked my brisket in sauce to cover the taste of old meat. Baked beans were over cooked to the point of mush. The atmosphere just seems grungy and dirty also. Not going back

This review is done by a Missouri boy we're just as opinionated about our barbecue is Texas. For the most part the barbecue was mediocre but I'm not for sure about Kansas has ability to create good barbecue. However, I would be back to this restaurants the staff was very friendly and the food was not bad. Probably the best thing about this place was the sides I had green beans and they were wonderful. My wife had sweet potatoes fries she said they were perfect. And my daughter had the kids meal with the hotdogs and french fries and cheese smiling. So if you're passing through this town go ahead and give it a stop just know that it's going to be a good clean place to get some quick grub.

Have been here around 5 times while driving through the last couple years now and, I don’t have any complaints!
Their menu is large and diverse for a BBQ place and I’ve tried many different sides and dishes.
Recommend trying it 👍

Stopped in for lunch to go today. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had the brisket sandwich and pulled pork grilled cheese. Delicious!! I highly recommended this place.

Terry and the gang always aim to please. I have eaten here many times and am always happy. Good hometown atmosphere and a great open face Brisket Sandwich with Mashed Potatoes.

Great food, decent family friendly atmosphere, and service with a smile. Toast with peach marmalade served pre-meal where most bbq places don't do anything, & the toast was perfectly toasted--didn't think that was possible. 3 sauces on the table, all good with a carolina sauce that I actually kinda liked. We waited barely 10 minutes & our meals were ready. I had a brisket "sand" carolina style & it was great, brisket was thick & tender but not wet; I love brisket with a sliver of fat on the edge like they do theirs here. my friends each had ribs that looked great & which they were very satisfied with. I tried the cheesy potato casserole, which was kinda "heavy" but good. Paper towel roll on the table, no need to beg for napkins. Interesting sports memorabilia on the wall (Johnny McEnroe??? Awesome!). BBQ awards displayed above the salad bar, so they're serious about what they do. Parking was steep but manageable, with semi-ADA parking on the east side. A 5 local bbq.

Not too bad. One of the sides I had was a little bland. The other, a little to salty. Staff is very friendly though and it has a good hometown feel. I just expect a lot out of barbecue places.
