Reviews of Roadrunner Cafe

I was happily surprised to have immediate seating arriving at 12:30ish. We were served out beverages as soon as we sat down and our server Vonda was AWESOME!! our food was hot and delicious. My only complaint was the prices, but post Covid and inflation are causing higher prices on everything. Food prices is the only reason I gave 4 ☆☆☆☆'s versus 5 ☆'s.

This was my first time here. The place is cozy & the atmosphere is friendly. The food was average. The burgers and wings were okay, they not very flavorful and a little on the dry side but fine for the price. The chili & the fries were really good. The best thing about this place was the service. Our waitress was very impressive and exceeded expectations. We never went with an empty glass and she made sure that we had everything that we needed. She checked on us regularly. Our food came out in a reasonable time frame. This is apparently a local favorite. We came during lunch hour on Friday and I saw many different social classes and a diversity of people came to eat here. I would come back here.

A truly excellent small restaurant. Not a very varied menu but everything they have is well prepared. Highly recommend the sirloin steak. It was better than anything I've gotten at a big name steakhouse. A very large thick steak perfectly cooked for a truly reasonable price. The fried mushrooms were also tasty. Service was quick and friendly.
