Baldinos Giant Jersey Subs

This used to be our absolute favorite place to get subs. That being said since the new ownership is not the same quality that it used to be. For example we got the daily special which was meatball subs. I've never in my life seen or tasted a tomato sauce like this. It almost has the look and taste of being burnt.

What is the point of having a online order when you you place an order and arrive 40 minutes later and they have not even looked at the online order tablet to make order. Then take another 20 minutes to finally make 1 sandwich. 5 people working in store 2 walking around doing nothing, no customers other than us waiting for food and still takes 20 minutes for a cold sub at that. Would have given zero stars but at least 1 had to be selected. They did not even apologize or offer a discount for the long wait. This used to be a good place to go but not anymore.

It took forever for the drive thru attended to comprehend the order that we were giving. She asked 3 times what drinks we would like. (It was only 3... 2 sweet teas and a coke). Once we pulled up to the window... to pay she asked again what the drink order was... Mind you they were not busy ... Then we were handed a peanut butter cookie for the kids meal.. without checking or asking what kind of cookie we would like. I have a peanut allergy. So... when we asked if there were other cookies I could have... the answer was... "That's basically all we got." Well... we will not be returning.

We had to repeat the details of our order several times each, then we had to wait almost a full hour to get our to go orders. Once we got to the car, one sandwich didn't have any vinegar at all. One sandwich was hold the salami but it had three big slices on it. The staff was nice but the service was horrible. I give the food taste two stars and one star for customer service. No stars for efficiency or service...

In my business, we cater various times throughout the month for staff and/or patients. I have always tried to use local businesses because I like to support local businesses as a way to give back to the community instead of using chain restaurants. I have a catering event coming up in the next couple of weeks and decided to try Baldino's for my lunch today to see if they could be an option to order from for the event. I gave two stars only for the fact that the food was good but the service was HORRIBLE! I placed an online order and paid for the order at that time. Time of readiness was given as 15 minutes. I arrived at the store 30 minutes later. First, I attempted to pick up my order through the drive thru as placing an online order should have the convenience of picking up through the drive thru but they do not offer that option. The manager was outside at the time and offered to bring my order out to me which I appreciated just to be told that my order was not ready as they had just started making it. Second, ten minutes later when my order was brought out to me it was overflowing with onions when my order clearly stated NO onions. So I still had to go into the store with the sandwich to have it remade. The staff preparing the orders behind the counter proceeded to make excuses that they were short staffed (there were FOUR staff preparing the subs and very few customers) and when I pointed out that being short staffed has nothing to do with preparing an order correctly, one of the staff yelled and cussed at me. I did notify the manager of this. The most horrible customer service and service in general! Very unacceptable and so unprofessional! This establishment will definitely NOT be getting my business again and definitely would not even begin to consider for them for catering!
