Metro A Coffeehouse And Pub

I ordered a dirty bourbon 🥃 chai. It was AMAZING! I also got a shot of a new whiskey they have. I can not remember the name of it but it was a ginger spiced whiskey. I think it’s called Misunderstood but I could be completely wrong. I hung out downtown for a while and made my way back to Metro. On my second go round I got the Wendell Dean. The bartender made it with Remy and it was good. I got a small chocolate dessert 🍮 it was a great way to end my night. I highly recommend this place. They have been open for years. This wasn’t my first trip and won’t be my last.

2022-01: I have visited here several times over the past handful of years, during the day and evening. Every time I have visited has been great. Whether I've sat at the bar or in a booth, it was a great experience. The coffee cocktails are awesome and the staff has been on point. I will definitely be returning again and encourage others to try for themselves.

I really enjoyed this bar. My husband and I came on Friday night to grab a drink. My Espresso martini was great! My favorite thing about the bar was the music! They were playing early-mid 90’s Pop/R&B. It was so fun! The bar was busy, but not uncomfortably crowded. We ended up returning for a drink the next day. I love that you can get coffee beverages and/or alcoholic beverages at the same place. There didn’t seem to be much of a food selection outside of a few scones and cheesecakes, so it may not be the best place if you’re looking for a meal. I would highly recommend a visit to Metro Coffee House

Definitelt comfy chairs in the window box if you get lucky. Bar is limited, no streamlined process for getting drinks if not at bar, many folks waiting 20 minutes for a drink order. I had no problem. Pandemic wise, bartenders were masked up and so was I but We were the only ones. Nice ambiance, lighter and quieter than the heavy bay scene. Good location

Was told by their neighbor sister company I could go over and grab a drink real quick while waiting for our table. We walked in at 8:40pm and the bartender says sorry we just had last call... even though they close at 9pm. I explained we just wanted to grab and drink and sit outside with it while we wait as their sister company suggested but they said too bad. Bad practices!
