Cookout is a very inexpensive mealtime option that can feed multiple people for a low price. I can eat twice off of 1 tray. Today, I ordered something different.
A Big Double Burger Tray.
- Burger: Cheddar Style no onions
- 2 sides: Fries and Nuggets
- Large Coke no Ice
- Extra Fries and Extra 5 piece nugget. Here is what I received.
Not sure how many nuggets come as a side. But 3 is acceptable unless it was supposed to be 5. All of this cost me around $13.
IMPRESSED! I ordered a small steak-style burger, onion rings, hush puppies, and a Coke float for $8.69. The old-style hamburger bun was soggy due to absorbing the liquid from the grilled onions, A-1 sauce, and mayo. I showed the bun to the manager and requested a fresh, dry bun. Instead, I received a fresh, deconstructed burger (see pic). Thank you, Cook Out, for a better-than-expected resolution!
If you’re looking for quick, tasty fast food, this is the place. I’m partial to the bar-b-q plate but their burgers are great as well. Their milk shakes are a nice indulgence.
Food was hot and delicious! Service was great even though they were busy late at night! We appreciate them being open late as well!
Amazing food, glad they aren't messing up my fries any more with the seasoning they use to have. Always a go to and I love it here.
