Amazing BBQ!
The brisket platter is perfect. Brisket is very flavorful & tend! Corn bread delicious & moist without being sticky! The dry rub wings superb!! The owner recommend various sauces based on each dish and if we like sweet, spicy or heat!
This was my first time here with my husband. The place is so clean and the service was impressive. I was so surprised at how fast the food was served. And the food was A-MA-ZING!! My husband had the brisket and I had the pulled pork, and honestly, no sauce was necessary to improve the flavor of the meats, but the Expreso sauce is so delicious 😋. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back for more!
We visited for the first time today and I will say the hospitality is stellar! Unfortunately, it didn’t FEEL like a BBQ joint … where is the grit? the SMELL? The VIBE? It counts for something. Furthermore… I paid $16.00 for the turkey “platter”… Now… a platter in BBQ joints is a PLATTER. Sides! cornbread! a big ol slab of meat or chicken! Here 16.00 gets you three slices of turkey and a slice of cornbread… oh! and a pickle … I appreciate the flavor, but something is missing here and I still think they can find IT…. I love small
businesses and I support as many as I can, but I honestly think more can be offered for the price point here and the environment needs to match the cuisine

This place was great - food, hospitality, and facility were all 5 stars.
Food: pork ribs were just right, the moist brisket was succulent, the cornbread was amazing, and the sauces - wow! The chicken seemed a little dry at first but I took the leftovers home and it was perfectly moist the 2nd day so I might have just had the only dry bite. They call their lean/flat brisket "dry brisket" and it was dry, but when drizzled with their espresso sauce I didn't care, it was absolutely delicious. The bark on both beef and pork was absolutely on point. The sides were decent, but the meat is the star of the show. Only (slight) complaint I had was the lean/dry brisket was sliced diagonally to the grain of the meat instead of across/perpendicular to the grain so I got more than I bargained for on a couple bites.
Vibe: the hospitality was exceptional - the owner/pitmaster was helping take orders and chatting up the tables, cracking jokes, and made everyone feel right at home. Entire place was immaculate, including the bathrooms. During nice weather there's tons of outdoor dining, and parking either across the street or behind the restaurant is plentiful.
Will definitely come again!
Our first time trying Smoke BBQ! This place has some awesome brisket and Birra Pork Tacos! Everything is fresh and seasoned very well! The sauces are very delicious and the heat is just perfect! Will look to order again soon🔥!!
Smoke BBQ gives you subtly spiced grilled food with authentic Texas style. The restaurant itself may not look like the BBQ shacks we might remember, but the flavors will be familiar to any who live for smoke. Try the brisket tacos and you won't be disappointed.
Hands down, this is the best BBQ you'll find in New Jersey. The food, the hospitality, it's all amazing. Aaron is the man and will make sure you're well taken care of. Guarantee you won't leave disappointed. Definitely worth a visit (or 86)
