Hibachi Buffet

Delicious!! Our visit to Hibachi Buffet was outstanding. This was our first visit and we were surprised by the large size of the restaurant. Even with so much seating the restaurant was completely filled. We had to wait a few minutes to get a table. The buffet selection was amazing if you like Asian food and shrimp. There were at least 4 different shrimp selections available and they all tasted very good. The sushi was also excellent with many choices. We didn't try out the Mongolian Grill option, but that is another fantastic option. The service was acceptable and the restaurant was fairly clean for having so many customers. Overall I highly recommend this buffet restaurant.

Hibachi Buffet! It is in a serene environment. The people come from a multicultural background so everyone feels comfortable. We enjoyed the different dishes they had to offer from seafood to "land food". You are allowed to hours to eat. If you're going as a group use one phone to take pics and have fulfilling conversations. The old school way. The staff was kind and welcoming. I would want to back soon.

"Good selection of food at a reasonable price." Pros: 😀Good selection and variety of dishes. 😀Food is consistently hot and monitored. 😀Some dishes you don't normally find in other buffets can be found here. 😀Plenty of seafood options even during lunch (they had crab legs and shrimp). Cons: 😔Lunch buffet had very limited sushi options (only two kinds). 😔Restaurant ambience and decor somewhat outdated. Ken's Takeaway: Went here for lunch on Sunday (around 12:15pm). Fairly crowded and busy but we were seated in no time. There was plenty of food and the staff kept the items piping hot and monitored any trays that were running low/out and replacing them regularly with newly-cooked dishes. There were some items you don't normally see at other buffets such as sticky pineapple rice. Everything was pretty straightforward and standard buffet fare. Recommended if you're hungry and want a reasonably priced buffet in Auburn. However, the decor and ambience was lacking so the focus is definitely just on the food and not the overall dining experience.

Excellent food, low price ratio. Can't ask for a better rate personally. The skewers were to die for, the pigs in a blanket were so flaky it was ridiculously addictive and they have such a wide variety of different meats and other foods that it was a delight trying anything and everything. If you have a tight budget but want good food? Here's a great place.

Well the food is pretty decent, good actually. I did, however, find it concerning that there is mold on the ceilings. I guess that's to be expected due to the steam from the buffet. It's not everywhere and it doesn't look like it's a huge problem. But I would like to see them do something to remedy and mitigate this developing issue before it gets to be a bigger problem. I won't upgrade my 3 star rating until they do something about the mold. Thanks for the great food! Please do something about the mold so that we can continue to enjoy the food. Edit 6/18/22 The Mongolian Grill is FANTASTIC. Do that! Sushi is pretty decent. But I would say their masterpiece is the Mongolian Grill. Try it!
