Burger King

Stopped by on Saturday October 14 evening after a gig at a winery. Have been to many BK's and other hamburger joints and always get the quickly assembled messy wrapped burgers with cheese halfway on and off the burger, sauce lettuce onions on the wrapper and just messy, usually accompanied by so so fries. I ordered two Texas Whopper meals to go and didn't expect anything special. Let me tell you I was shocked when I got the order! The burgers were wrapped so neatly like a Xmas present that I was excited to unwrap! I should have taken a picture 📸 but not the social media type! The Whoppers were put together beautifully just like the pictures for once, no sauce dripping, no onions, tomatoes or lettuce out of place. Crispy bacon and just the right amount of jalapenos! Tasted even better than it looked with hot Crispy fries. I'm near Elk Grove but any time I need to be in Auburn area I will definitely be back. Shout out to the BK staff that were on duty that night!

My husband and I stopped in for dinner on a Friday at about 8:15pm and were delighted to find a mostly empty, very tidy, fully stocked, and well cooled lobby. We were greeted by a friendly team member who promptly took our order. Our order was ready for dine-in approximately 7 minutes later and was piping hot, fresh, as ordered, and well presented. The onion rings were just perfect - hot, crispy but not overcooked, and not excessively greasy or soggy. Our entire order was clearly fresh (including the produce on our burgers) and made to order. We'll be back next time the mood strikes for a whopper, onion rings, and chicken fries, all better than expected. 😋🤤

Who would ever have thought Burger King would serve a better quality than Mc D's? Not me. But, I needed a quick bite- opted for BK, and wow- their whopper is still the size of an original whopper and Onion rings still like 20+ years ago. McD's bigmacs are slowly shrinking- pretty soon they will be sliders, and meat is so thin.

I wasn't able to use the drive thru because I had more coupons then people in the car. Apparently BK has a one person, one coupon policy that applies to vehicle occupancy. I asked to come in, and they agreed to honor the coupons after I mentioned I was feeding more than myself. It didn't occur to me until a bit later to just drive two laps around the castle and complete two separate orders, but it worked out ok. Inside I was the only one at the counter and had my Whoppers and Original Chicken sandwiches in just a couple of minutes. One note of caution to my skirt/dress wearing friends; prepare for a spot-on Marilyn moment, because there's some funky fan, wind tunnel or something that attempted the signature Monroe move on my baggy tank top. I had to hold it down (seriously). The food was good, made fresh, and the fries were perfect.
