Don’t think twice this place is awesome! Added bonus if you can secure Cheri as your waitress for the evening as well. Cheri If you see this thank you for an amazingly great evening and end to our trip you are great and made my visit this year the best one yet!!! Every year I make sure to visit The Brownstone Inn--the staff are great, atmosphere is very cozy, welcoming, relaxing, and comforting. The food never disappoints, either! You won’t regret your visit here!
I have a large background in the customer service side of things, specifically restaurants and service industry, which can make me a more difficult customer sometimes; but my experience tonight was great, and Cheri is an amazing lady who did a fantastic job tonight!! Thank you Cheri and Brownstone Inn as you did not disappoint!

What a great place! It's been around forever and is well maintained and the staff is lovely and the food is very good. portions could be a little larger but honestly that's just nit picking. wonderful time. go go.

We stopped here after we did a bus tour on the Grand Island and it was excellent! The service was great and the food was even better! I got the coconut shrimp

Excellent dinner. Knowing the owners and the effort they put into all their local businesses, we were not surprised by our excellent dining experience tonight. Go online and check out this menu, honestly, I was interested in 3 to 4 different options. I had the maple season steak, others had the perch, dinner and blackened white fish dinner all were superb! Drinks were great, service was great, prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back. So glad that Brownstone is back up and running again!

I don't know if this is called the brownstone in its an airbnb house and it's awesome on lake superior. It has all you need 3bdr,2 full bathroom a fire place, large deck,lighting washer and dryer kids play nook, firepit, paddle board. Hammock. Hanging chairs outside. Yes it's awesome.

The place is great. So glad to see it reopened. We had the chowdah and the mushrorm soup. Both excellent. Fish and chips combo = all three fishes. Elk meatloaf was excellent. The beverage menu is good. We had no wait on a Friday at 8, but I have driven by to se the parkinglot full. No reservations, but that's OK. Just go.

Back and better! Jason and the Roam crew have done it again! Everything you want the Brownstone to be in variety, but elevated in flavor and finesse. Old favorites meet new soon-to-be favorites served in this cleaned up Northwoods Supper Club ambiance. The chowder and the mushroom soup are back and both fabulous. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes get 5 stars. The fish combo plate is EVERYTHING. AND there is pasta that tastes like mama made it this morning. Add brews on tap By George and top the evening off with a Vernor's or root beer float and you have the makings of a perfect evening in da UP! Family friendly and great for date night. You won't be disappointed!

I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! It had a high end, but still "up north" vibe with some of the best food I've had in the UP. I had the scallops and my husband had the steak. It was absolutely worth the drive and we will be back!
