Song

Song was kind of a last minute, spur of the moment dinner choice for us, and I was happy that we chose it. Song is located inside the new Hard Rock Casino, in the same area as the other restaurants. The atmosphere, as with most in-casino restaurants in AC, was very nice. As for food, we started with the Dongbei Marinated Black Mushrooms, which I really enjoyed. I’ve never eaten or cooked this type of mushroom before, but the texture led me to believe that these were cooked just right, and the flavor was very unique. For my entrée, I got the Duck Breast, which came in a spicy black bean sauce and had a generous seasoning of what I guessed was Chinese Five-Spice (disclaimer: I could be completely wrong). Again, a very unique tasting dish and also enjoyable. Paired with a couple of Tsingtao’s, it was an enjoyable way to start off our night in Atlantic City.
