Pie Heaven Bakery Cafe

I’m changing my review from 1 star to 5 because Pie Heaven absolutely redeemed themselves when they called back and were able to place my order. I haven’t even had the pie yet. This updated review is based solely on my experience as soon as I walked walked up to the front door today (8/20/21). First of all, this place is just covered in southern charm. From the beautiful blue house to the red door and plants with American flags, Pie Heaven was quite welcoming and it felt like home. When you walk in you are instantly greeted with, dare I say, HEAVENLY smells along with big smiles and a hearty welcome. This charming little bakery is a home away home. Again, I have yet to try the pies I ordered but simply based on my first visit I can tell they’re going to be absolutely delectable. I’ve already told 5 of my friends AND my mother-in-law so now of course they are all looking forward to the journey I’m going to inevitably be on as I take my first bite of the pineapple fluff and later the Reese’s peanut butter pie. ————— Would’ve liked to give a proper review but I can’t. This review is based solely on the business’ reply, or a rather lack there of. I called yesterday, Saturday, August 14th, listened to the voicemail greeting which provided hours of operations along with the timeframe the business would call back, and left a message. The voicemail greeting stated that during business hours someone would call back within 2 hours unless they are closed. Given that I did my due diligence to check their “website,” which is a Facebook page, and hours of operations online, and listened to their voicemail greeting, I had left my message at 11:01 am and expected a call back “within 2 hours.” It is now Sunday and I have still not received a call back. Of course, they aren’t open until Tuesday. At this point, it is apparent that they don’t call back within the hours as indicated on their voicemail greeting. Don’t think I’ll be doing business here.

Pie Heaven has the perfect name, the pies are delicious. The crust is flaky and the perfect consistency. I ordered the triple berry, the blueberry, the bourbon chocolate pecan, the shepherds pie and the corn bread chili pie. Each one was excellent. My personal favorite is the triple berry but everyone was wonderful. The cornbread chili pie was a hit with my family. I live in Miami and I brought them home to enjoy over the Easter holiday. Wonderful treat for our family. I definitely recommend Pie Heaven. The ladies were very friendly and kind. Fantastic find after all of these years going to Jacksonville

Great pies and sweet ladies who run it! Big thank you to the baker who makes those delicious pies possible, and the lady who helped us at the ordering counter, and every other person keeping the cozy and homely shop alive in a world filled with overpriced and sad tasting pies. This shop is definitely the place to go if you miss homemade and quality pies! We had the chicken pot pie, Lorraine quiche, Irish cream pie, and the strawberry rhubarb. All of them were very good, but the chicken pot pie and strawberry rhubarb were my favorites!
