Great atmosphere, food was the best I’ve had here in Jacksonville. The staff was so wonderful and our waiter was very attentive, seriously never let any of us in our group go without fresh drinks and you can’t beat the portions for the prices. Mr Sal was very amazing to speak with. Keep up the great work and Facebook advertising—it’s how I found y’all! Highly highly recommend!!!
Great tasting food, fast, and service is always really good. But today I got the grouper tacos for the first time and I'm 99.9999% sure the fish was tilapia, not grouper.
I've been fishing, cleaning fish, and eating grouper for nearly 40 years and this fish looked nothing like any grouper I've ever seen. It was very thin and held the signature stripes found in tilapia meat. Grouper looks nothing like this.
I asked the waitress where the grouper was from, and she couldn't answer. With such an awesome fishery in our area, it's sad the grouper isn't local and even sadder it didn't appear to be grouper at all.
The tacos tasted great and were seasoned perfectly but as a general health rule, I don't eat tilapia. Hopefully I'm mistaken.
I'll still return, but I wont be ordering the "grouper" again.
I understand many restaurants do this, but it makes it no less disappointing.
This was a very friendly and lively place! Everyone really enjoyed their food, kids included. The salsa was very smooth and mildly spicy. I had the surf and turf quesadilla but was able to try the street corn quesadilla, which was unequivocally superior. I strongly recommend it!
Today I had the Grouper Taco and the Chimi Chimi Bang Ban Taco. Both as lettuce wraps. Quite awesome! One tip on the lettuce wraps. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper on the plate and dip the wrap in it before your first bite. Blasts the flavor profile. These dudes are tasty! Skinny margarita was awesome!
Our first time here and we will come back again! The food came out fast and it all tasted amazing. The server was pleasant and she was on point. The pics I included doesn't due the plates justice. A definite suggestion if you are in the mood for mexican food ❤
My favorite Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville! The restaurant itself is very unique, has plenty of seating, and there is nice bar with plenty of TVs for live sports. The service has been pretty consistent, ranging from average to above average. But the food is what sets this place apart from other Mexican restaurants. And the food is excellent across the board. Everything we have ordered has been great. And most importantly, their cheese dip is the best!
Great food! I had the Calamari tacos and the elote which was amazing! The house salsa was a bit mild but they brought out one with more kick and it was very authentic also! Generally great vibe - I had plans to go elsewhere but the music, neon green lights, and great decor brought me here instead and I didn't regret it either! Thank you guys
Great vegetarian food. We ordered Avacado Enchiladas along with a Cantina salad (sub chicken w/ black beans). Both were delicious. Highly recommend!
