For me as a German citizen was kinda funny to see how German culture got translated to American culture. So yeah there was a German food menu (not really authentic German food but close to) and good german beer.
It was still an American restaurant with sports and to many TV's and they're way to loud. But I think that's normal in the states so it was fun.
I would come again!
And it's in German "Der Biergarten" because it's masculine and not neutral (for "Das"). 😉

Amazing atmosphere. Great set up, easy parking, nice outdoor area for sitting and dining. Beer garden style inside dining. They have Staten Oktoberfest year round, which is a big reason I keep coming back here. It’s a big ranger bar for their hockey games as well, but it’s really tough to even get served when it’s ranger playoffs, place gets crazy.

Definitely not bar food! This is top restaurant quality flavor and care. I asked for recommendations and I got them. The schweinshaxe is to die for! I dont normally go for pork but this is a must have. The onion soup is a lovely take on the regular mozzarella you'll find in other places. (Tastes better too). And apfelstrudel? I hope you brought a friend because it's enough for two.
Hefeweisen was crisp, service on a Sunday afternoon was great! Remember it's a bar, so if the game is on, the fans are there.
Definitely coming back and bringing my parents because the food is THAT good! Compliments to the chef!

Home of das boot! I didn’t actually get it but wished someone did. Loved the energy of the staff and all the decor. Seating inside and outside. This place is great for families or just a night out with friends. The customers at the bar were having a great time with the jukebox. Don’t know if it’s actually called that anymore. Machine that plays music is best way to describe it.
The food was amazing. This was only my second time at a German restaurant. First time I made the mistake of getting a giant array of sausage. I was smart enough this time to not eat too heavy. I went with das schnitzel sandwich. I was recently introduced to fried pork cutlets. On a pretzel bread seems like a no-brainer. I turned out to be right. Fried perfectly, tons of flavor. Their french fries for a nice bonus. Very crispy and delicious. I was also able to sample some of my wife’s plate of jagerschnitzel. It was basically what I got, but with a delicious mushroom gravy sauce. It also came with a side of spatzle. Great experience. Can’t wait to go visit the in-laws and come back here. Five stars!

Had Date-Night here, on 7/1/22. Live locally, but never gone, because thought it was a bar with food. Oh, was I wrong! The food was FABULOUS! Service was great! Loved our waitress & her personality. Here is what we had: Pork Shank, potato pancakes, schnitzel with bacon/mushroom gravy, Sauerbraten….. 😋 YUMMY! Worth the trip to Atlantic Beach, come and taste this food! Going back here again!
