The James room is the definition of a hidden gem, if you blank you’ll literally miss this place. Really gives you that speakeasy feel. The scene is serene and comforting. Super awesome vibes!! I’m from Chicago, and I’ve lived in LA and New York. I love the vibe of this spot! It gives me LA x speakeasy. Tunde my bartender was phenomenal I had an old fashion and a Mon Cheri both drinks were fantastic!! Highly recommend!
James room has first come first serve policy, which is good for people like me lol. But seriously, the bar is hidden behind a bakery with the bar visible. So discreet for calling it a speakeasy. Great 1st experience. Wonderful customer service. I enjoyed the the coffee shop it is small but good coffee and pastry. Then went back to the bar good mimosa decent brunch nice vibe good music I enjoyed.
I hate to give up this spot, but this place is amazing! The staff is friendly, attentive and genuine-from the host all the way to the chef. Salad and lamb chops were bomb! Nice set up. The staff is super supportive of one another, and move as a team. There was a guy who was impeccably dressed at the front, who seemed to curate the entry & exit. To top it off, he was so kind. I really appreciated that. I had a wonderful time.
