After just one visit to Cafe ULU, it's already one of my favorite Atlanta coffee shops. First, the coffee is really really good! I also enjoyed the pastries and free wifi. The people are very warm and welcoming. I love that ULU is a co-op. There is definite support for community and I look forward to participating in some of their events. I got a lot of work done while there and also was able to network my way into a couple beneficial opportunities. This is a great spot! I plan to become a regular and hope to see you there soon!!
Food and smoothies are AHHHHMAZING! Customer service was awesome.... They have a great variety and have events for the community!!!!!
Great Coffee! You will find a wide assortment of coffees they brew from Cameroon, Ethiopia, Brazil, and Tanzania to name a few. The atmosphere is great, I can come in and be very productive over a nice cup of Joe. They also have Teas, Ginger and Hibiscus drinks, and vegan options.
Such a cute & cozy cafe! Great service & ambiance! The coffee is delicious & so are the wraps, salads & sweet treats! You must try the lemon pound cake, it's amazing!! I have been many times & will be back many more!!
My husband and I payed a visit to Cafe Ulu today and the experience was great along with the coffee. So glad to be a walking distance to this gem with beautiful art, ambience, and a welcoming vibe. Happy to spend my dollars here to a company that will reinvest them in our community.
Awesome coffee & healthy snacks. I ordered the Cameroon Boya and I’m very satisfied with the aroma and taste. I’m also very interested in learning more about African coffee and the awesome benefits. This store have some great smoothies and organic juices especially the Ogarno Gold Ginger
Coffee was good. Comfortable seats and free wifi. I just like to be left to myself in coffee shops and this was great for that.
My only complaint is that there was somebody there who had set up a booth and was clearly selling shady credit cards and trying trying to sign people up for a pyramid scheme. I found that very distracting and unbecoming.
Being from Michigan, I was visiting family and friends in Atlanta and wanted to stop in to Cafe ULU. Food was great, Had the Lemon cake and Fruit Tea. Service was wonderful. Ken and Thomas were very gracious in explaining the history of ULU which means Us Lifting Us as well as their vision for the cafe. I was excited to know that for 50.00 I could become a member and for 1000 I could own a share in the business. A business with a vision for the future of Black people. I have been following them since Cafe ULU was a idea to now the realization of the cafe and moving towards the cafe being vertically integrated. But for now their mission is to connect Blacks folks in Atlanta with one another around the idea of Us Lifting Us. I am going to do my part and you should too. Visit, buy, invest. help where needed.
Cafe ULU has such a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. There is such a diverse patronage that you will likely meet people from all over the world. In addition, the food menu is smart and simple featuring sandwiches, wraps, desserts, and snacks from local restaurants and food caterers. And above all, they brew international coffees from around the world on a daily basis, in addition to a veriety of bulk teas and natural juices. The place is simply amazing!
Their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is unbelievable. I've heard a lot about subtle tastes and notes being the difference between good coffee and great coffee but didn't experience it until visiting ULU. Today was my first time going and I'll be back tomorrow morning. They are a MUST TRY!
