A Great, Traditional Ethiopian Restaurant Serving Delicious, Authentic Food. You have to keep your eyes peeled because there is no sign on the front of the restaurant and it looks like an old garage/mechanic shop. But once you go inside, there is no mistake, you are in an Ethiopian restaurant with the sights and smells... and eventually tastes of the mother country. We ordered the typical spread with the bread and chowed down. Everything, from the meats to the veggies were cooked well and had lots of flavors. I went with someone, who never had Ethiopian food before, and to her credit, she tried it all and ate most of it. I believe it was a good first experience for her and hope she goes to another similar establishment. Overall, this is a solid place for traditional Ethiopian food and would recommend it.

Found a new food love!!! I have only recently tried Ethiopian cuisine but as a vegetarian I am completely hooked. We went during the day and it was really warm that day. They did not have the air conditioning on and it was a little hot, but the food was totally worth it! Definitely recommend!

Art Cafe is amazing. Such good food, beautiful atmosphere, interesting location. I bring people here when I want to impress them with Atlanta's vibrant culinary options and everyone is always impressed. Injera is love, injera is life.

This one of my favorite Ethiopian restaurants and it is centrally located near downtown. I love the Awaze Tibs, Doro wat, Miser Wot and all of the Sambusas with green sauce. It was so good I forgot to take pictures of my food. Next time....

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Would have been easy to pass this place unnoticed at night because it doesn't stand out in the street, but inside it is alive with tastes and sights. It is not loud nor busy - and has very few staff so don't come in a hurry - but the food is great (my group had veggie platters, plus soup and appetizers) as was the coffee after our meal, and there is wonderful art in every direction. I'm not just looking forward to coming back next time I'm in Atlanta, I'm going looking for something similar when I get home.

Had lamb goden tibs which came with salad and rice. My guest had salmon tibs. Both were really good though we didn't care to much for the red sauce. Also had the veggie sambusa (excellent) and ful (really good) as appetizers. The green herbs/sauce that came with the appetizers was delicious. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to my family and friends.

First time going to this place and first time at an Ethiopian restaurant. Food was good but too spicy for me. Nice atmosphere as well. Sadly it was empty for a Friday night. Might be the location. They have valet parking which is mice, now they just need to have a bar.

This was my first experience with Ethiopian food and I was blown away! I ordered what the server suggested. The flavors we're so rich and spicy in just the right way. The bread was a new experience too. I can't wait to try more!

Places like this remind me of another positive of being vegan. If I wasn't, I would never have tried a place like this. The neighborhood is rough and the parking is tough but free. The interior is really nicely done. The food made the visit. I had the vegetarian player and highly recommend it. It is 6 or 7 scoops of different hot veggies. Very tasty!
