My fiancé and I SO enjoyed our time here. Only planned to stay for about an hour to grab a quick bite to eat, but ended up hanging around for about 4 more hours enjoying the atmosphere and drinks. Mehiret was our server/bartender and she absolutely rocked!! So attentive and generous! Honestly, some of the best wings and fried shrimp we’ve eaten. Will be back!!

First time eating char-grilled oysters, they were awesome... Great food, and service. I will be returning to hold a meeting in Feb... Parking onsite, which was a plus.... If you are a Brussels sprout fan, they have really good Brussels sprouts...

The food is amazing! I went for the first time about two weeks ago and had the lamb chops meal. Normally I don't eat them, but I decided to give them a try. Boy was I pleased! Not only is the food good, but they have a nice crowd on Tuesday nights with a good DJ and great service! Definitely a nice spot to check out for good food and vibes.

I thoroughly enjoyed both times I visited. The service was friendly and courteous each time. The 1st time I sat at the bar and had the grilled chicken sandwich and waffle sweet potatoes, very delectable. The next time I went to the oyster bar section and had the charbroiled oysters and won ton cheese sticks. The chef shucked and cooked the oysters right before me of which were so good I wanted more but the gooey goodness of fresh mozzarella sticks quickly quenched my wants. The drinks, house white wine and $5 Jameson & Ginger Ale, complimented the meals nicely. Overall I enjoyed this nice neighborhood tavern oyster bar!

First time there. Good atmosphere. Drinks are not bad. Missed the kitchen but maybe next time. They have Large Jinga Blocks and a table set up to play beer pong.

Feast your eyes on this Atlanta The Black Sheep Tavern Oyster Room. Well let me say over the years
I have traveled and given out some reviews but honestly, I can be sort of hard on my home team restaurants in Atlanta because my expectations is very demanding of the places that serve food where I live, work and eat here in the city.
The Black Sheep Tavern Oyster Room didn't disappoint me. I and three friends decided to eat out here and have our meeting and the staff and food was wonderful. Well that's enough talk let me break this down.
There are some young brothers that are behind the
most impressive selection of food this part of town on Edgewood had to offer. The tomato and avocado sandwich with sweet potato fries was to die for. The chef pants on mural on your tongue of flavors and the southern sweet tea, because we are in Georgia was perfect not overly saturated with sugar but not tasting like it came out of some Yankee state as some Atlanta restaurants in the downtown area do it rhe south how can you not serve sweat tea? Yes I am
tossing shade at many of the resturants near them to midtown.
The owners, seamlessly blends Edgewood Ave feel with sommelier sophistication, for those of us that like a good drink well they don't have 3,000 staggering selection like some places but what they do have you are going to love it's still a work-in-progress as it upgrading certain parts of the establishment but growth tells me it's a live and thriving.
Best of all they have an out door area for those of us that like a cigar after our meal. THAT'S RIGHT some places in Atlanta still believe in allowing the dinning tradition of the cigar after you eat. I promised Chris if. I got his name right some Cuban cigars once I get go on vacation in September to Havana 🇨🇺 Cuba. One of my new hangouts.
