Chai Peking Chinese Restaurant

I have been taking food out from Chai Peking for many years. It’s always been good and very dependable, In that regard. my recent visit, though was extraordinary. I picked up the food around 1:30 in the afternoon, on Friday for Shabbos, and we ended up eating around 530 later that day, and actually ate it at room temperature . It was excellent best I’ve ever had. the vegetables were crisp, the meat was properly cooked. Everything was just perfect. Some of the items We ordered: the egg-rolls with meat in them, They were delicious. The dumplings were delicious. The general chow’s chicken was beyond good, the breading was light, chicken was moist, and the sauce was appropriately spicy. We also ordered a new dish, for us, Mongolian beef, that is now a staple of our dinners. The house special fried rice was extraordinary even the white rice, which is my favorite was moist and properly cooked. The new containers are also great, no food leaks in the bags when Carrying food home. Everything was just so delicious and well prepared. You can tell that management cares about what they’re putting out. It’s definitely the best, kosher take-out in Atlanta and possibly in the entire south! Also, dollar for dollar it’s a great value, the portions are excellent and the protein in the dishes is in good proportion. The food was ready when promised and service was excellent! In the everlasting hunt for really awesome kosher Chinese food, by and large, the experience has been rather “meh.” Especially considering that even in NYC, many of the Chinese food restaurants were just lacking. Chai peking has been not only consistently awesome, but more, they are a pleasure to get delicious food from because the owners treat their patrons with the same love and care they pour into the creation of the delicious food they sell. Each time I go I try to get at least one new dish from the expansive menu, and I have yet to be disappointed.
