This restaurant I found through google as we were spending a day in Bruges from our cruise and was looking for somewhere to have lunch, I called and made some enquiries for a table for 16 people and they sent a couple of menu options and so we went for the following?
Shrimp Crouquettes or Fish Soup as starters,
Lobster plain or Garlic Butter or you could have Mussels as mains, white Lady or Chocolate Mouse for Dessert.
Everything arrived and looked great and was Hot, except of course the desserts! The staff were great and good sense of humour and it made my 60th Birthday bash amazing.
Can highly recommend this place and value for money, 11 people 3 course meal with drinks = 582 Euros all in.
Thank you Jesse and the team we will be back?
Amazing food, I had never eaten mussels before and I loved them. The fish is to die for. Would highly recommend it!
The ponzu/caviar oysters were great, as we're the calamari rings the size of onion rings. A great spot for seafood in the middle of the tourist trap spots. The spicy mussels and what my wife called "best salmon ever" didn't disappoint
Amazing Belgian meal. Recommended by a local and did not disappoint. The mussels and fries were great and fresh, the sole was cooked perfectly. Lots of locals eating here, definitely not a tourist trap! The fish soup was also super tasty!
Came for the second time because their garlic butter mussels is simply splendid! Portion was smaller and price was higher, not sure will return for third. Lobster was terribly overcooked. Angus steak was surprisingly delightful. The mushroom sauce did an excellent job to elevate the taste of the steak. Waiters on the other hand were obnoxiously cold and arrogant, except for the one that served the food from the kitchen. He should be hired to give lessons for the others on what hospitality really means in horeca business.
This is the best seafood restaurant in Brugge. We all had a wonderful time. The server thought we couldn't eat all the wonderful food we ordered but we did!
The best meal we had on our holiday to Belgium. We came to Bruges for a day trip and booked this restaurant for lunch. Even my friend who doesn't usually like seafood loved it and devoured her lobster. We had shrimp croquettes, half a lobster and sole fish. Amazing every single dish.
The fish soup, mussels & lobster were really fresh & delicious. However the side dish - fries was bad. It seems that they use the frozen fries.
Mussels and lobster were a treat for our visit !! We really enjoyed the fresh seafood cooked to perfection!!
Service staff on the other hand were average and not super attentive.
Charging for filtered water was a super surprise !! 7 euros for a litre just feels so wrong ….
Wow this is an excellent little place for seafood and steak. Amazing food and service, everything was perfection 😋 hopefully we make it back here sometime... Thank you
The best mussels we had in Bruges. Worth visiting for seafood. Fish soup was light and well made, mussels in garlic butter ere very nice. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Suggested to make a reservation in advance
Great Food and very friendly staff. Took me back to ZA, when I used to fish for mussels and cook then that night for dinner.
Thank you for reminding me about those delicious memories.
