What a great brunch experience. From the atmosphere to the service and the food I wish I could rate this place higher. Started with the freshly baked pastries which are a must. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and the flavor was exquisite. I also tried the french toast. Simply delicious. Don’t leave before enjoying your favorite cocktail by the river. You can spend hours admiring such a beautiful place.
We went here for Easter Sunday Brunch with my family and it was literally divine! We sat on the patio overlooking the river, which was so serene and beautiful. The salmon appetizer was light and simultaneously decadent. The pastry basket was delightful. The salmon Benedict with cheese grits was my absolute fave! The crispy shrimp salad was great and so was the chicken. Our server was very attentive and the view spectacular. Overall a wonderful Easter celebration. Love this place 💗💗💗
We had one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Our waiter, Jimmy, did a very thorough description of the menu & the specials. First off, the bread course is in a league of it's own. We ate the whole basket.
We ordered the kangaroo for an appetizer and the duck and the rabbit for the entrees. All of it was mind-blowing. We will definitely be coming back.
We loved our experience at Canoe! From the knowledgeable waitress, to the delicious appetizers and entrees, to the scenery. You can tell each dish was delicately prepared and the grounds and well cared for. It was absolutely stunning! So many beautiful birds and plants in the wildlife sanctuary. Cannot wait to return.

Very great dinner. Valet service at the door. Very friendly greeter. Knowledgeable wait staff. Beautiful ambience. The food was top notch, and even with appetizer, entrees, dessert, and a bottle of wine, it didn't break the bank. The plating could be a little tighter, but everything was cooked perfectly and flavor combinations of everything really worked well. Will definitely be going back.
Always love going to Canoe - went for brunch last weekend and it didn’t disappoint. The brunch vibe is much more laid back than the dinner so if fine dinning isn’t your thing it’s a good entry in.
Small pastry basket - an absolute must! The scones are my favorite.
Salmon Benedict was delicious and the skillet potatoes were perfect. The Riverside - it was good but not amazing like everything else was.
We came down from North Carolina to celebrate our son's 32nd birthday. We make the trip to Canoe frequently. As usual, the entire experience was wonderful. From appetizers to desert the food was delicious and artfully prepared. The service was impeccable. After dinner we enjoyed a walk in the beautiful garden. All in all it was a delightful evening.
Fine dining with a view.
Food and service was excellent and exactly what you would expect from a restaurant at this price point. The cold smoked salmon with crispy potato cake were particularly wonderful and well balanced with the creamy goat cheese and dill.
Loved that the restaurant had a great view of the river and provided an extra nice ambiance. Dinner at this price is about good food but also about a good experience and Canoe delivered both.
