Instead Of Flowers

Have been using this great holiday meal resource for years since our immediate family is just a few people. Today Jenny just topped it off by patiently taking 3 revisions of our Thanksgiving order which was SO much nicer than doing it online. She led me to special items I had missed and helped with alterations to meet our needs. The food's deliver taste, quantity and presentation usually do not disappoint. This makes excellent gifts as well!

We got a meal as a gift from my very thoughtful co-workers after a family member was in the hospital. Not only was the meal delicious, but Rod, the owner, personally called to say that he would be dropping off the meal a bit later than expected (due to a driver being in an accident-hope he is okay!!). Great customer service and a wonderful treat during a stressful time. Thank you, we will be gifting this fantastic idea in the near future to other families!

This is such a great idea! My husband's employer sent us a meal following his surgery and I'm so glad to have gotten a meal rather than flowers. The food was tasty, packaged so carefully and included everything we needed including instructions. I also appreciated that they had vegetarian options for us since we don't eat meat. I will definitely use them should the need arise.

I received this as a gift. The meal was excellent. It came in a very nice insulated bag. Each meal item was packaged well and had heating instructions on the outside of each container. I especially liked the choices to change out the sides while selecting the meal. I would definitely give this as a gift.

I had never heard of the company until my boss sent a meal to our home when my family and I were down with covid. To my surprise the food was so good! We had pasta, salad, steamed broccoli and french rolls. I also appreciated how they had the details for heating each item so I didn’t have to go look it up. Oh and the butterscotch dessert bar was yummy too! Needless to say, I will be using them for myself as well as recommending to others. Yes flowers are nice and all, but when you’re sick you need a good home cooked meal and Instead of Flowers is it!!!
