Uptown Comedy Corner

Enjoyed the Comedy show at Uptown Comedy Corner. I pre-purchased my tickets on Eventbrite for a quick entry. There is a two-food item minimum or a $10 fee required. Additionally, there is a 18% mandatory gratuity charged on all orders. Regardless of the rules, the Comedians were hilarious and we had a good time! Speedy and his group were funny.

I know this has nothing to do with the venue, but the comedy shows second opener and main act were fantastic. This is also a nice venue in a great location. Parking was easily accessible too. Despite serving a captive audience for an event, in today's market, their food and beverage prices were quite reasonable. And the food was quite good. It was easy to hear and see who was on stage as well. The seating wasn't the best though. You are packed in like sardines and you can't sit next to who you came with, unless there are 3 or 4 of you. Then you get to take up both sides of the tiny table. Otherwise, you're sitting one in front of the other. I'm sure there is a size requirement (small SLIM) for wait staff. 🤣 I commend them for their skill at getting in between all those patrons, taking and delivering orders, and clearing tables without spilling anything. But, overall a good experience.

This may be my new local getaway for a Saturday night. EVERYTHING was on point... the food, drinks, comedy and our waitress delivered our food and drinks in a timely manner!!! My Ole man even enjoyed himself and he's not easy to impress lol. The host had me laughing so hard my makeup came off!!!!!! The crowd was mild and grown folks. Will DEFINITELY return

Fun night. Parking was no issue. There was no waiting. The atmosphere was great. Staff was very inviting. Wish the Cigar sales was open, but maybe next time. The food was wonderful. I had the seafood menu only to follow with a PoBoy-shrimp. We also ordered chicken wings, but they were too small to really enjoy. In all, the show and the experience was very enjoyable and something to do again. I plan to try their Sunday brunch.

First time visiting this place. It was for a paint & sip. The host/comedian was very welcoming, accommodating, and just overall enjoyable. The DJ was great as well. They weren't very organized but improvised, making us laugh at any hiccups that came up. The food was not great. I had shrimp and grits for $15, which included 5 shrimps and half a plate of interesting tasting grits. Not worth it at all. The drawing for the canvas was subpar. The karaoke sessions were hilarious. Kim, the violinist, was excellent. Loved her vibe. I'd try this place again.

Sam is AMAZING! She is one of the servers at Uptown. She goes out of her way to create the ultimate Customer Service experience for the guest. When you attend the Sunday Comedy Brunch, ask for Sam and tip heavily 😉 The Sunday Comedy Brunch is the bomb! They have a cute vendor row where you can purchase jewelry, wine, desserts ..etc

Ok, sooo... this is a great Saturday night or a lazy Sunday afternoon. Weight Ball (host) is too funny. I had a chance to meet Sweet Baby Kita, who is not only funny but is so outgoing. The prices are reasonable, and the comics/ entertainment is worth your $$$. If you're looking for something to do, then diffently check them out.
